For several years now, the dream of the Unionist Divine continued to live on in the minds of the few. In the general population, the hopes of re-uniting the disparate Unionist factions back into a single unified Religious community was long forgotten, even though it had only been several years since the reactionary priests within the Dogmatic community sabotaged efforts to compromise with the other denominations. The Guided Unionists were first to walk, and after that, it seemed all hopes had been dashed, as the Evintarian Council seemed content to just retreat back to Aetosil in their isolation. But some priests on all sides still held out hope. Among the Evintarians, it was hoped that one day the Dogmatics would see past their rigid Concilly Council, and that the Guided Unionists would take Faith over reason. The Guided Unionists would hope the Evintarians sought more proof, and that the Dogmatics would accept it, and the Dogmatics would hope that one day, the other schisms would return to "mother divine", as it were.

Whether by the relative tranquility of the Unionist forces, or the cooperation of the likes of the Reliquary Knights Jophael and Casimir, the priestly figures of Petrou, Mother Alexi, and Galinthos, and even convert priests like Vikstrom, and the preaching of von Drachenburg. Through incremental co-operation, through incremental socialization, and attempts to help one another, the rifts between the various priests still seeking out the Unionist Divine, were brought ever closer as the reactionary element in the priesthood was repressed. In secret these priests would come together in a group called the Silver Salience, a reference to the fact that they had once before attempted to reunite the Unionist communities, and failed to do so, instead going for silver on the second attempt.

With the tacit support of the Emperor when he was still around, and the eventual more prominent support of various court figures, the Silver Salience debated and debated until inevitably they found a compromise agreement that could work, a merger and acceptance of the Duo-God structure while keeping some of the uncompromisable figures like trans-dimensional entities as their own sub-cult. These sub-cults would be recognized as part of the Religion proper, but worship of their Gods would not be forced on the faithful. With the details settled, the priests spent the last few months lobbying the Supremoclacy, the Aetosian Council, and the Concilly Council of Unionism for the willpower to accept it, and eventually, they succeeded.

While the details will be slow to roll out, Guided Unionism and Evintarian Unionism will merge into Dogmatic Unionism, while not losing their individualism and uniqueness to one another, but re-merging all the Unionist schisms into a single unified Divide, so that all Unionists may look towards the same goals, instead of fight among themselves.

    OOC Notes:
    • This is an IC change that underscores a Religion rewrite for all the Unionist Religions. This will result in a pantheon change and two "DLC" cults that add extra gods onto the main selection for the Guided/Evintarian niches. In essence, schisms will be acknowledged as valid, but exist in suspension besides the main portion of the faith so their unique beliefs are not forced on the other faithful.
      • The Evintarian cult belief, is that extradimensional gods can also be Unionist gods.
      • The Guided cult belief, is that Dragon gods can also be Unionist gods.
    • A list of Gods will change. This will inevitably result in some Gods being deleted. In an ideal world, we could keep all of them, but that is just too many gods, and some of them have really weak themes. By adopting the God/Guide principle and just making all gods duo gods, we will be able to present a clearer picture. The following gods change:
      • Theomar and Thedmir will be merged into a Duo God.
      • Ness and Eotranna will be merged into a Duo God.
      • Juvin and Taal will be merged into a Duo God.
      • Allest and Alexander will be merged into a Duo God. Allest will be made Half-Eronidas.
      • Elia and Leona will be merged into a Duo God. Leona will be made an Elf.
      • Alexander and the Everwatcher will be merged into a Duo God.
      • Niall and Nolan will be merged into the main branch.
      • Hor and Mendes will be merged into a Duo God.
      • Kristopher and Caan will be merged into a Duo God.
      • Al-Asir and Marani will be merged into the main branch.
      • Elen and Sinnavei will be merged into a Duo God.
      • 2 new Eronidas Gods will be added as a Duo God.
      • Agus, Ceren, Vess, Almar will be removed.
      • Efrat will need to be transitioned to an exceptional divine but not god entity. These gods simply never existed at all, but Vess and Almar did exist as Emperors, just not divine.
      • Cedromar + Tristan, Sarnan + Tarnan, Nicholas + Sadhana, Morgan + Narsil will remain as Guided Unionists under the "Dragons can be Gods too" Cult. DLC.
      • Freiderikos, Amandaros, Yvasi, and Kithemon will remain as Evintarian Unionists under the "Extraplanar entities can be Gods too" Cult. DLC. I had intended to make these duo gods as well originally, but this may prove impossible. In such a situation, I will merge Freiderikos and Yvasi, and Amandaros and Kithemon in pairs of two as they oppose realms.
    • If you currently play or make a priest Character of any Unionist Schism, up until the end of the year 2023, you may backstory that your character was part of the Silver Salience, and that your character had theological debates with the other priests to find a compromise, but had to stay quiet about it because it was dangerous business for the public to know about, and so never spoke about it. I picked names in this mini-progression that I could remember off the top of my head. If you think your character should have had a mention as well, you are free to invent some sort of relation to the events described above, so long as you don't claim sole responsibility/credit for all of it.
    • Changes will happen on the /Unionism Page, but these may be somewhat slow, as writing and producing new art at the same time is very slow. Theomar and Ness have been updated as of yet, the rest will follow soon.
