Skill Information

Hobbies and Talents:
  • Seafaring.
  • Being generally nosy.
  • Archery
  • Swordsmanship/bladework (shortswords and small daggers mostly)
  • Numismatics.
Mechanics (Fin'ullen & Estelley Vyre Godborn)
  • Fin'ullen can breathe underwater without any Abilities, and can also see perfectly underwater without it blurring their vision, allowing them to stay submerged indefinitely.
  • Fin'ullen can perform great feats of strength out of Combat (carry multiple people, throw boulders etc.). They also gain +5 in out of Combat dice roll Strength competitions.
  • Fin'ullen can Transform into Daphalar, turning part or whole parts of their body into Aquatic humanoids (think Merfolk), this is not a Disguise.
  • Sea Walker: You can breathe underwater and move with great speed (flywater Trait) while submerged and can see perfectly clearly underwater. You are also able to share your breath with one other person, though they do not become fast. This Mechanic does not grant Underwater Combat or Ability usage.
  • Light Manipulator: You can produce bright lights in your hands, at your fingertips, or in the air that will light up large areas like rooms or large open caverns. This light can be used to make an area that is conventionally dark as night appear bright as day, but does not have any Combat applications, and some Magical forms of darkness overrule Light Manipulation.
  • Solur Tender: You can create animal or fairy-like familiars either from plant-matter, or light-magic, that can act as your pet in social roleplay, or perform simple tasks around the house in emote flair. You can have any number of Solur familiars, but they will flee when Combat begins.

Background Information

Early Life (TW for dark themes--murder, suicide, abuse, etc)

Stargyle--born Starearlin Bel-Saal (and will be referred to as such before her transition), lived with her parents, Dorell Bel-Saal, and Seraan (formerly Mas) Bel-Saal, in a small coastal town in Torse. The town was so small and poor it wasn't on any residential maps, nor did it have a name. It was such that the bordering noble estates didn't consider it occupied land, and regularly competed in informal disputes, chartering unreputable services, and a dumping ground for any problems they may have had.

Starearlin's parents were not a couple born from love. While her mother was beautiful and sweet, singing and dancing, she wasn't that bright. Despite the fact that Star was not her biological child, she loved her all the same. Starearlin's father was not a kind man. When he wasn't in the bottom of a bottle, he was using that bottle to beat and berate his wife and child. He felt he should be living a higher life, one of renown and majesty. He had, after all, caught the attention of the goddess Vyrë, and even sired a child with her. But the goddess lost interest and dissapeared as quick as she'd come.

When Starearlin was six, her mother was found dead. Hanged from a rafter in their little hut. The town had no physician, and certainly no medical examiner, so it was ruled as a suicide in spite of the obvious signs that she'd been murdered. She had little concept of death, but she knew she'd never hear her mother sing ag lighthouse.webp ain, or dance in the yard with the wind. And it was all because of her father.

Her boiling resentment and hatred continued to mount as the years passed, but there was little she could do. Any money she earned only ended up in her father's pockets, and any nearby estates were generally hostile and intolerant of the villagers. Additionally, she hated the way that her body was changing. Her skin didn't feel like her own, and no one else seemed to understand. When she was 13, a neutral ship docked at the town--a rare occurence. She saw this as her way out, and she left the town that night, stowed away in the ship, carrying only the clothes on her back and the money she'd stolen from her father while he was in a drunken stupor.

later life info will come soon maybe idk
