Lonan is an aspiring technician and alchemist with lofty dreams of attending the Scholar's Court of Advancement. Growing up in Crookback, he is no stranger to struggle. He is seeking ways to improve the lives of his peers.
Lonan is an Ailor with dark brown, almost black hair and freckles. His eyes are similar colored, narrow, and often have an almost suspicious glower to them. His clothing is often baggy and ill-fitting, worn and used. Lonan walks with the aid of a forearm crutch.

- Lonan narrowly escaped a collapsed building with his life when he was twelve years of age. The cost was the full functionality of his left leg. He attributes the partial function to those of his community that acted to pull him from the rubble and certain underground illegal (at the time) medicinal practices.
- Lonan has a particular disdain for most walks of Knights. Viridian and Lothar are chief among them. While he is simply wary of Aelrrigans and Bloodcasts.Typically on a case-by-case basis.
- Lonan aspires to join the Augur Order and attend the Scholar's Court of Advancement.
- Lonan does not have a formal education in technical or alchemical skills. He learned all he knew through self-teaching methods. A fancy term for trying until something did not blow up in his face.
- Lonan is a not-so-traditionally devout follower of Unionism. Favoring Juvin and Morgan. To learn anything, you must question everything.
- Lonan's parents, the Murphys, were well-known thieves. They were executed when he was young.
