here is a little tutorial for how to do eyeshadow on ur characters.
first start off with a nice base. if your character has deep set eyes, a shadow curving from the end of the eyebrow to the corner of the eye.
then. add a darker color to the outside corner of the eyes. if perhaps you want something really edgy, make it a dark brown or black.
then add the main color onto the lid. it doesn't have to be perfect. just lay down the color. correct if needed when you're done.
afterwards, blend the two together. for a blending brush, have no hard edges, and make sure the opacity is slightly lowered to 80%
(Side note) The dark added in the inner corners of the eye sockets are for more life and definition to the eyes/face, since my character has deep set eyes. This is not a step.!!!!
---------------------------------------------------
After you've very gently blended the eyeshadow into a cat-eye shape, or up to the brow bone, feel free to add eyeliner. it looks weird having just the upper eyelids covered.
now the look is complete!!!
Know that makeup looks, especially in the mixture of eras regalia is set in, were not perfect. the more fashion forward and extravagant places your character is from/raised, the more normal it is for them to wear wacky, colorful shadows.
