I have noticed a lack of siege weapons, and lore for the ones that we already have! So in this thread I will give a couple of weapons that I think should be implemented into the lore (not the game). If the concept of this is accepted, I will gladly wright the lore
Catapults
I'm not sure if this is already in the lore, but I think it would be pretty awesome! If you don't know what a catapult is (or forgot) it is a large wooden contraption that throws massive rocks at walls (or large amounts or troops) to forcefully enter a castle. It uses rope tension in order to create massive amounts of energy.
Trebuchets
Very much similar to the catapult, the trebuchet uses a larger weight to launch said projectile. It is taller than the catapult making it weaker to strong winds, and a larger target to other siege weapons. It's main target is walls.
Battering Ram
The goal of this siege weapon is very simple: Use a large weight to break down the main gate, or a weak point in a wall. The Battering Ram takes several strikes to break down part of a wall, which makes it and it's users very weak to arrow fire and other siege weapons.
Ballista
Ballista's are pretty much a large crossbow. With it's primary target being enemy siege weapons/users they can kill them (users) with one shot. If worse comes to worse, it can also be used to pierce wood walls. It's arrows reach upwards of 3 feet, making it a menacing weapon.
Hwacha
The Hwacha resembles a cart with a large board on it's side attached to it. Holes are then cut in the board to load 'fire arrows'. Fire arrows are rocket propelled arrows. Much like fire works but with a punch. It's only target is archers and other siege weapon users. The Hwacha is a very deadly weapon, it's only weakness is it's in-accuracy. The Hwacha has been know to go 100 meters, if it hits. With approximately 75 fire arrows in a batch, you don't exactly have time for accuracy. The Hwacha simply relies on luck.
Siege Tower
The last of all siege weapons, the siege tower is a large tower rolling on 4 wheels. It's target is to get within a short distance of enemy walls, and open it's gate releasing troops on unsuspecting archers. The tower also can have archers in it to defend troops.
Like a said before, if this concept is accepted, I will gladly wright the lore
