Seeking Crest For Paloin Family!

So, I've tried making my own Paloin Family Crest... but I'm not sure I like it so I'm asking for people to help if they can! The Paloin Family Crest must have the following parts:

1) The Paloin Compass must be located somewhere on the crest. Paloin Compass:

2) Gold, Tan, and Velvet Red/Maroon(ish).
3) Mine doesn't have this but if someone could put silver symbols somewhere in the crest that would be cool. (there's an irony here, see if you can get it)

My Crest Concept took a b*tch amount of time to, erm, "convert" from a google blank crest to this (aka, I totally stole this thing and stuck it in Paint, since I don't ave photoshop). I personally don't like the lightning much, but I needed something to fill in the excess space - if you want to stick a pig or silver symbols in there that would be both funny and cool.


Thanks for any proposals, I'm really not good at crests and such.
