Spoiler: Personality and Abilities (EXPANSION) Personality and Abilities (Expansion) To the Naked Eye, one may overlook the posh butler for nothing but a classy man in the shadow of the Nobility he serves. But upon simple observation Sebastian can be seen as posh, polite, decorum, and serious. He is an organized figure who busies himself with the unexpected responsibilities of the Noble Classes needs. With his snow white hair, tailored style, and straighten posture, the older man can come off as reliable and extremely disciplined. However this is to no surprise given his experienced age and the Luetz eyes he perceives the world with in a temperate wisdom. He hardly ever smiles due to the responsibilities and seriousness he upholds causing him to appear like a disciplined wall of quality, class, and polish. The innermost thoughts of Sebastian include the serious pride he takes to his role. Throughout the majority of his life he’s served the Aristocratic Covens with great patience, maintaining a polished reliability in doing so. One lesson he has come to know defines the rewards in upholding a Masters maintenance with his careful perception and sharpened mind. Not many can pull off such a role, nor do they desire or feel passion towards it. In Sebastians case however, he enjoys the gratitude that comes towards his specialized service. To the Masters and Lords, Sebastian relishes his pride in the quality of service. Normally, given his experience in the occupation he holds, he develops powerful relationships with his masters. These connections are carefully protected by the servant and internally treasured. He grows to appreciate the Coven leader of old, who presumably appreciate him and provide him gratitude for his services. They are the borders of his country, the perceivable ends of his world. His life and service is passionately given to their honorable and recognized titles. The Heart of Sebastian, it is neither good nor malevolent. He wields the code to loyally protect each and every family guest and member, even in the eyes of opposition, but needlessly harming the innocent is not his forte. He maintains no corruptness, a contrast to his charming and calm disposition, and instead preserves the loyalty to the Coven he firmly obeys. This loyalty is the strongest trait he has to the arsenal of his personality, and it is a polished weapon. This is a cause of the occupation he passionately sustains, as the Masters and Lords entrusts him with confidential information he must not release. Life Story (Required) Genesis Came to birth in Dorkarth under two Zikiel parents. He was in turn, a brood. The families occupation was that of service, from Sanguine maids and stewards of the house, he rarely lived in a position outside of a castle. Adolescent Years Ascending the tower of age and experience, the brood obtained an apprenticeship for a lower architect who frequently took to speaking Alt-Regalian. Despite the poor wage, he obtained skills to improve his image, quality of service, and attitude as a clerk equivalent. This planted the early stages to a progressive butler in dark Dorkarth Society. The Bloom of Experience Continuing his life's occupation, he still lacked a reliable means to live, and he was not architect worthy. Aware of this he set off in search for a more reliable means of income. He obtained an occupation elsewhere within Dorkarth as a bloodletter. It was temporary, but provided skills and connections to continue his ascending life. Through the gathering of rumors by established connections, he learned of a job for a treasurer under a rather wealthy Coven. He worked towards his desired occupation, seizing head of treasury. Responsibilities included maintaining blood stocks and consumables for the Coven. Inauguration The line of work was difficult to grow accustomed to, especially when blood reserves were low, but Sebastian learned to wield it’s continual trials, improving his reliable image in the eyes of the Covens Lords. He was formally licensed in posture and service skills as a brood. As his attendance caused the Covens leaders to grow reliable to his quality of service, he finally obtained the highest position of a butler, steward of the household, to later lead the households servitude of the Coven. Wielding the reigns of maintenance towards the many needs and responsibilities the Lords required, the Brood gained a strong sense and training of language for the accustomed house guests. This included Réginyelv and Alt-Regalian, and resulted in a more linguistic role as a occupational butler in the residential scene. Throughout the Covens many years of sustainability, it suffered a growing decline due to blockades from the Destruction of Old Ceardia. As many things come to pass, so did the Covens wealth. The Crisis had brought a crippling financial situation to the Covens coffers, one they were unable to dig themselves out of. This resulted in a continuous downfall to their name, feral causes, which forced the brood to flee. Upon his search for work, and a lack of Coven to serve, the brood naturally continued to aged. Months following the hardships Sebastian faced, brought about quick adaption and a change of loyalty. For the first time, the Dorkarth brood planned to transition to a new Coven within Dorkarth. In the many years of seclusion without a coven within the countrysides of Dorkarth, he learned much about his abilities and society under the wings of wise and ancient sanguine he passed. This included activating his bloodline, and hungering for the collection of knowledge. The Causatum The stories and rumors of Great Covens and Ancients upon the shores of the Crown City was one such attraction the Butler could not pass up. He used his obtained and polished education to conjure a resume, and set off to the powerful Isle in the hopes of finding a new Lord to offer his service, patience, and skills to.

Life Story In your story's beginning, please list your exact year and place of birth. I'd like to hear a little bit more about your family and their impact on your character's upbringing. You talk about your character's circumstances, but miss a potential piece of character richness in confronting his relationships. Please clarify the connection between your character's early experience as an apprentice as a lower scribe and the segway into a devout faith and interest in Unionism (for example, how does this type of standard clerkship lead to deep piousness?). It may be worth expanding on with additional anecdotes, as it seems to be a pivotal character point. You cover most of your proficiencies in your backstory - however, I'd love to hear a little bit more about the origin of your significant proficiency in statesmanship. As this is an older application being updated, I request the personality section remains in the older format for the following reasons. The personality of Sebastian is written to portray story, and link experience to emotion and current narrative. Both available formats are oversimplified in my opinion, and would ruin the applications fluff and story, as I'd either be deleting the story in the personality section to replace it with a survey, or a D&D good vs evil format which is not what the character has represented in the past, nor the present. The personality section format has sufficed without change in the past, even when updates were made.
