She was the second daughter of the two, her sister being Annika. Just as her sister had, Saffrona went through the sacrament of birth only the day after she was born. EARLY YEARS: Although Saffrona was raised closer to her father, which gave her a strong sense of Unionist beliefs, she quickly grew independent interests from both her father and her mother. As one day in her young life, she wandered into the kitchen where the family cook was preparing dinner. And the scent in the air just made her immediately fall in love with cooking. TEENAGE YEARS: In her teenage years, Saffrona studied the culinary arts under the family chef as he grew older, and even started to help him make meals for her family. The family took notice in the change of style, but they still loved the food that was being prepared. The cook also showed Saffrona how to grow simple fresh herbs to make her cooking even more special. Soon after that, however, the Cook passed away. Saffrona took it the worst unable to cook for around a month. After that, she mysteriously vanished from the house under the cover of night, along with a myriad of cooking supplies, herbs and pots, a weak horse, and a carriage large enough to store all her needs. She made an impulsive decision to run away, and teach others how to cook like their Chef had taught her. CURRENT YEARS: Safronna has been on the road for several years now, using her horse to go from town to town and putting on cooking shows for everyone and anyone who would come. She had no teacher, but quickly learned the basics of riding and steering a horse, or at least this one.An Ailor sorcerer then approached her, saying how her act was lacking “Pizzaz,” and offered to teach her some things to get that Pizzaz to draw more people to her. She enthusiastically accepted, and the sorcerer taught Saffrona some spells. A while later, she met a similar person, but this one was a Yanar who offered to teach Saffrona how to take better care of her potted herbs. However, she has begun to get ever closer to Regalia, and news tends to spread fast. So, after hearing about her Cousin’s ascension, she immediately made plans to head to Regalia.
