She was the oldest of two other siblings and her mother was a fortune teller while her father was a priest of the Estel religion. She was born into a nomadic Cielothar tribe, one that travelled through the plains often, rarely stopping to settle down for a long time, thus Ruza became accustomed to the caravan lifestyle and tribe living. Learning to be close to her family and Cielothar that moved with them. Due to her mother being a sorceress, the children of the Glynthana were taught certain spells starting from a young age, this is where she learned all of her spells as she grew older. As Ruza grew older, she followed in her mother’s footsteps of whimsy and fortune telling. One day, her mother was attacked and tainted by a Void creature. Due to her mother’s affliction she was quickly outcast from the village, as well as her father pushing her mother out. With a close relationship with her mother, she left with her, setting off for the far shores of Daenshore.☀ Teenage/Young Adult Years: ☾ As Ruzalia and her mother settled in Daenshore, their comfortable life of living in the village was quickly turned upside down. Now living on the streets, the Cielothar and her exiled mother turned to petty crime to make sure their mouths were fed and they didn’t go hungry. Using their appearance as Cielothar, and the people’s knowledge of their passive nature, they used this to their ability-being able to get close to people before robbing them of their coins or small trinkets of jewelry that they could pawn off. This lifestyle continued for the two of them until Ruza’s mother was cleansed of her affliction and allowed back to the village she had come from. Not wishing to return to a place that had so easily thrown her away, Ruzalia stayed back in Daenshore, before eventually coming upon a band of travelling performers. With her knowledge of small sorcery spells and being able to tell fortunes, she quickly found herself a spot within the circus, quickly making it her new home.☀ Adult Years: ☾ As Ruza grew closer to the circus she found herself cycling in talents. From telling fortunes, to bellydancing, and to putting on performances of Whimsy magic to entertain the crowds. During an evening performance, one of the acts was replaced with Ruza. As the evening went on she found herself strapped to a wheel that began slowly spinning while another person was tossing knives towards the wheel. During the performance, one of the knives went astray, finding itself lodged into Ruza’s right eye. The healing sorceresses were able to save her, but cost her the vision in her right eye, the eye completely losing its color and function. This soon became one of her signature looks, seeing as her animal familiars would also have a missing eye, looking identical to Ruzalia.☀ Regalian Years: ☾ Years went by while Ruzalia continued to work for the circus. After a dry spell of no performances, Ruza found herself growing bored, lacking excitement. With her newfound sense of wanderlust, Ruza headed off for the great city of Regalia. Quickly earning coin by telling fortunes in the city, she found herself slowly getting involved with the gangs of the undercity, landing herself a spot in the Crows as their fortune teller and pickpocketer. Finding herself in a whirlwind romance with the leader, they married but it was short lived as he left the city and eventually the pair came to an amicable split. Spending the last year traveling the archipelago again, Ruza has made her way back to the city of Regalia to see what trouble she can find herself in and continue her fortune telling empire.
You say she is very close towards her friends, but in regards to how she is on the inside, Ruzalia is greedy and self-driven. Does this lying, greed, and such extend into her relationships of family, friends, and lovers, or does it stop there, and she is a much different person? I don’t think Ruzalia is Chaotic Neutral. Chaotic Neutrals are liberty-bound, and would jump off a bridge as soon as crossing one. I don’t feel like she is actively seeking to contest order, but is likely more of a True Neutral person, as this lot doesn’t feel much towards good or evil, and does what they think is the right course of action.
