Life Story / Plot Hooks
Ruven was born to a family of artisans living in one of the Sollerian lake cities. From a young age he was fascinated by the mostly untamed mist-shrouded wilds that surrounded the azure bastion he called home. Recognizing the potential dangers said wilderness held, the youth sought out one of the renowned Mist Wardens to instruct him in the ways of warfare while also picking up some alchemical knowledge in his studies. Eventually when he was finally ready to set out on his own he embarked for unknown lands, seeking new frontiers and opportunities for fame and coin which soon led him to the Holy City of Regalia.
Recent Developments:
Ruven left his mercenary life behind becoming consort to a noble lady, Josephine Bayard, who he had served as a guard for. The two later adopted a child named Alinar to raise as their own.
