Rosette was birthed to the Ithanian family of Corbeau, a well-off group of Merchants known for their brightly colored fur and well-made potions and medical supplies. One day, during her tenth year of life, her family's manor burnt down, her family with it. Having been a child, and worried she would've taken blame for the incident, Rosette ran and from then on became a nomad, collecting supplies where she could and using her words to escape situations.
