- Romona Valentina was born and raised in her familial castle estate, Puerta de Pierda. She is the eldest of four daughters and grew up with a traditional line of education. She never partook in commoner's work or learned to be a master in specific studies, such as managing finances or becoming a general - "There are other people for that" as it was often described to her, and thus is a pillar of her thinking today. That said, she prides herself in knowing the extensive history of her family and the sieges that happened over the years at their various fortresses and keeps.
- Her favorite castle to visit is located almost centrally in the Entierra forests, named El Halcón Rojo. A central castle with a 360 view, it is practically impenetrable via ambush, and the people who live and work in this castle could describe the now Viscountess' previous visits as eager and frequent. Several Salas cousins come to this castle to learn about castle siege defense strategies and to practice their fighting.
- In her adolescence, Romona Valentina underwent the typical Tierraveran courting process, which isn't so dissimilar to the Regalian way of doing things on the isle. However, as the years went by she failed to settle in any notable courtship at all. Since then, the Viscountess has not prioritized finding a suitable partner but has instead visited an orphanage close to home to take in three infants who lost their mothers early in childhood. Felipe, Franco, and Jovita are treated as if they are her flesh and blood.
- Viscountess Entierra, after completing a few months' worth of familiarizing herself with the changes and processes of being the Viscountess at home, has decided to take up her father's advice to go to the Regalian Isle to become acquainted with the nobility there and keep the Salas reputation afloat. She seeks alliances, and friendships, and will also be navigating the waters carefully to identify the more devious of the bunch.
