Roland grew up the third child and second son of Thoron and Elena, quickly developing a love for swordplay and the Calemberg countryside. Roland became gravely ill the first time his father took him out to sea when he was eight. After that voyage, he didn’t set foot on a boat for four years, causing him to never grow a love for going out on the sea unlike his Admiral father. When Thoron decided to explore the world, Roland stayed in Calemberg with the remainder of his family. In this time he often clung to his elder brother and sister, Klaus and Josefine, while also paying a lot of mind to his younger sister Cecille. Teen Years (13-17) Upon reaching thirteen, Roland began to experiment with different weapons, learning to favour the Drixon Spear as well as the Cavalry Sabre and a Heater Shield. He built a habit of training daily to have at least the basics down before he was sent to Kurtenwald Castle in the Crown City of Regalia to train to be a Viridian Knight. As soon as he reached the required age, Roland set out for Kurtenwald and started his path to becoming a Viridian and serving the Regalian Empire. He trained long and hard at Kurtenwald. His status attracted friends as well as a few foes among his peers. The occasional fight between Roland and a cocky Ithanian boy was not uncommon. Though, Roland generally tried to mind his own and stick to his company. Adulthood (18-Present) Roland graduated from the Viridian Order when he was eighteen, taking with him all he had learned, he was awarded the title ‘The Crowned Eagle Knight’ by his mentors and returned to Calemberg. Roland had some trouble readjusting to his kin at first, since he had been gone for so long with little to no visits from anyone related to him. But, over time he reaccustomed and grew a great love for his Typhonus kinship. He wanted to do everything he could to aid his family in their efforts. When Roland was twenty, his uncle Ulric Typhonus had reached great heights in the Capital. Roland decided to return to the capital to aid his uncle in anyway he was able. Only a few months after reaching the city, Freya Lo and Lenora Santorski had invaded the Typhonus home of Calemberg, forcing Ulric Typhonus to respond by raising a force alongside Typhonus’ allies and Prince Thomas Kade. Roland quickly jumped on the chance to join his Uncle’s army and return to Calemberg in hopes of freeing it from the Northern occupation. The battle was fierce, and the fighting difficult. Just as they were in hopes of victory, the Typhonus line was broken and chased back to the sea. The Battle of Calemberg was a devastating day for Roland and his family. Roland had suffered a few minor wonds from the battle, but stayed in tact. Later that same month, Roland joined his Uncle in the Army of Calemberg to enter the Elven War of 302 AC. Roland then served in the Regalian Army at the Battle of the Curag Fields. And later that year, he returned to Calemberg to defend it against the Vultarin Heretics that had began pillaging the Calems during the time of the Anahera Dictatorship. The Typhonus remained in Calemberg for couple years before joining the Calem Region soldiers in The Burning of the North. Now twenty-four, Roland Typhonus has set out for Regalia once more to join his newly found cousin, Elros Typhonus, as well as his siblings Josefine, Klaus, and Cecille in hopes of aiding his House in fortifying the family legacy.
Thanks! I was playing around with the aesthetics a tad because something didn't look right on mobile and it threw out the Approved tag when I saved changed heh. Sorry about that @AlphaInsomnia
