Rivals!

I see a lot of factions go to war with one-another. But for me, I always pay attention to the individuals, and there conflicting pasts. Two players that always seem to be fighting each-other for some long-forgotten event. These rivalries can define our time on the server, give us a constant thing to over-come. So I want to know, what player (or players) would you consider your biggest rivals on the server?

To start, I've always considered Grailen (grailen16) to be one of my rivals. He was the first guy to beat me in single combat. Ever since we fought on the Magenta road (each scoring a win each) I've had a bone to pick to see which of us is better. I've been in his faction before, and I've fought him before, but we've not got the chance to have a 1v1 in a while. In character, he represents what my character could have been: Power and riches at his fingertips, and a skilled sword in hand, but sacrificing his sense of justice and good (from my character's perception that is). To my character, he is the man he hates and respects the most.

So yes, what rivals do you have on the server?
 
Silver hasn't had very good connections with the Kades at all. Tom is about the only one he knows well enough to like, and even THEN Tom once surrounded him with some other Kades wielding shovels, purely to make fun of and threaten him. Alex isn't liked too well either, after their first meeting leaving Silver unable to count all the side-comments about "the smell of decaying" and various other things, even resulting in Silver having to bring up his own murder just to get off the topic. Also, Silver sorta kinda likes Faewyn slightly, and Alex would technically be in the way. This is what could lead up to a rivalry, with enough work.
 
Well, idk who is my actual rival, I know that many people from Alamut and Ghischari are good pvpers, but I don't have any strict rival for now. :-)
 
though she is an ally, i feel a bit this way towards LadyHeretic...shes a better villain then me T.T
 
My old rivals was grailen and argonia... so much pvp between arthain and argonia.. also alot of hate. :P

My old rival was ZeroZerOO. Up until his first ban, he stopped at nothing to make my life hell. He would raid me just about everyday, for hours on end. After he was banned, I trained my axes up to a whopping 300. Upon his return, I decided to return the favor and raid him into submission.
 
Grailen was also my rival. God damn those Argonians, raiding those Zionites...I had to beat him in everything from now on. :P

I think the scary part about being your rival is that by the time the level up their axes to like 300 yours is already 500 and you've already made a drawing of them and a whole rp back story and your rival is just sitting there with his 300 axe

I mean as in more of personality-wise rivals, not actual combatants. I can barely kill a spider, let alone another player, so we'll leave it at that- that is, if he WANTS to be a rival of mine. :P
 
I don't really have any rivals, though some of the Prems. who have collected several suits of armor from me are BornaSepic and McMuffin55... We have peace though, so I couldn't even count them. I'm friendly with everyone. :)
 
There are plenty of people I dislike with a great passion; however, I wouldn't call them rivals. They cannot rival my prowess. ;)
 
I doubt many would know this name, but Gardner1105 (or something like that) was always my rival from back when Vectis, Osion, Pristina and Blackmagic all lived in Daendroc.
 
Firstly... The worst Rival(s) of Nicolas James Bellromis would be pretty much ANY member of the Crimsons as a start.
Secondly... LadyHeretic... She's still pissed over me infiltrating her faction. 8-)
 
My worst rival... I can't say I really have one now, considering all of other people's rivals have considerably helped me in some way, and, I don't really dislike and single out one specific person. I will say this though, when I die, sometimes I grudge against the killer and then go all TRYHARD 360 NOSCOPE (420????) against that one person.

MonMarty, there is a reason so far I am the only one to mention this, but if we were your rival, wouldn't that involve us getting simultaneously struck down by the gods of thunder and lightning?

And just so this post isn't worthless, I'd perhaps say Goliaith513. I don't really hate him, but I'm always trying to compete {Which I am losing currently} As to whom will have the higher skills.

Which sucks, because he's way ahead of me now.:@
 
Desmond_Diseos i think he is my Rival,my friend too but...Yeah more Rival than Friend :P
 
I don't have any rivals, I just have lots of people trying to kill me.

Despite me wanting Yani to be the one who has many Rivals, he doesn't really have any... well... ones he has realized.

And I don't think I have any personal Rivals either. Well, maybe Tom. But that's because I thought I could stay awake longer than him. It didn't work well.

I guess Marek and Yani are sorta Vivals in a way... But also friends... Mindblown...
 
I have no real rivals because I view this as a game for everyone to enjoy. I also don't compete with people very often and don't consider my skills the sort that can be rivaled with, not b/c they are so good, but b/c they aren't skills that can be compared very easily. After all, who can say that something is prettier then something else? Everyone has their own opinion of pretty.

Fine then. My rivals are Grailen b/c he forced me to abandon an awesome base, OctoberGwen b/c she's a better leader and I hope to match her RP some day, and Philly/JP because I love their village houses and hope to surpass them someday.

Happy now? lol
