ᴄᴏʀᴇ ᴄᴏɴᴄᴇᴘᴛ

Reverie is a Warden Archon serving Daiana, the Dreaming Dragon. Descended from a Dreamborn, her magic became overactive when she assumed her mother's purpose to the point where she can no longer reliably tell the difference between her dreams and her reality. She tries to use her abilities to heal and help people, but the path to hell is paved with good intentions.​

ᴀᴘᴘᴇᴀʀᴀɴᴄᴇ ɪɴғᴏʀᴍᴀᴛɪᴏɴ

Reverie has soft lilac eyes, owing to her Archon affinity. Her royal blue hair is cut into a bob, with a bit pulled back into an updo so she could say she did at least something with it that day. She prefers breezy, soft styles that lend themselves to a more forested, cottage-core aesthetic, and clothes that can be moved in freely. Her skin is pale with soft freckles that glimmer like stars. Reverie is an even six feet tall due to being Elven.

Mechanic 1: Reverie can manifest Fairy Wings, which while not in Combat, allow (Elytra) flight (including the use of Rockets). Combat or Ability usage immediately disables flight.
Mechanic 2: Reverie can Point Buy Enchant Point Buy and Radiant Point Buy Packs, re-classifying their Abilities to Dragon Magic. They cannot Point Buy Theurgy or Sinistral Point Buy.
Mechanic 4: Reverie can perform a Cleansing Ritual that cleanses a (willing) Exist/Void/Ordial Mage of their Magic and makes them an Archon. Any Sinistral/Theurgy Point Buy Packs are refunded and can be re-spent.
Mechanic 5: Reverie can perform a Cleansing Ritual that cleanses a (willing) Exist/Void/Ordial Spirit of their Alignment and makes them a Primal Revenant. Any Sinistral/Theurgy Point Buy Packs are refunded and can be re-spent.
Mechanic 6: Reverie can perform a Cleansing Ritual that cleanses a (willing) Undead, to either pass onto the Afterlife, or become a Primal Revenant. Any Sinistral/Theurgy Point Buy Packs are refunded and can be re-spent.
Mechanic 7: Reverie can see backwards in time (coordinate with other players to tell their past) or see glimpses of possible futures in multi-time thread theory (just make them up, there are thousands of possible futures).
Mechanic 8: Reverie can live much longer than non-Archon, empowered by Dragon Magic, meaning they can live three times as long as their Racial maximum. (Making an Archon 300+ years old may require ticket consultation).
Warden Mechanic: Reverie gains Chem Talent from Chem Point Buy and Radiant Magical Talent from Radiant Point Buy classified Dragon Magic for free, even if they do not Point buy any Packs.
Warden Mechanic: Reverie gains +1 Main Defense Stat (breaks Cap up to 11) while they are in Gloomrot Forest, and gains Medical Talent from Medical Point Buy while they remain in its boundaries.​

Reverie does not have a strong short-term memory and is prone to forgetting things unless they have been written down. She does, however, have a strong facial recall memory, even if names do not always come with that facial recall. ​

Reverie has difficulty distinguishing between reality and dreaming. She is prone to unconsciously using her magic to bring her dreams into reality where everyone else must confront them. ​

Reverie does not carry a timepiece. General knowledge holds that looking at one can reveal the difference between reality and a dream, but Reverie is time-blind and forgets to look at the timepiece for so long that when she remembers to look it will be a completely different time. Instead, she relies on asking other people what time it is.

Reverie is not a Dreamborn herself, but has assumed the purpose of a Dreamborn that was once close to her - her mother. Her feelings towards this legacy, as well as her mother, are varied and complicated.

Reverie often appears in other characters' dreams, and unwittingly influences these dreams to become more vivid with her presence. She does her best to shift these dreams into better ones, but sometimes leads them directly into disaster.

Archon are prone to perceiving moments in time, and Reverie is no different, except that she sees moments of time in dreams - and they arent always her own moments. If you would like Reverie to have witnessed something about your character at some point in a dream, DM me!
