I, Reilan Vann-Eskondr, feel I have brought dishonour to my name.

On 14/2/309, I engaged in a battle with a Kathar. I did not who he was, only that he was being attacked by two knights (whom I will not mention). He proceeded to fight back, and I joined the fight. It was an act I shouldn't have made. This act caused a split in my back, a day's worth of rest and reflection. During the battle I was hit by a throwing knife, and when I looked for the source, it was two people. These people (whom I will not describe) were fighting with all their might to protect their friend. They, have true honour.

When the guards arrived, I'd explained the situation. They asked me if I needed medical assistance. I disagreed, telling them they should assist the battle, but all they did was begin walking away. Never have I seen such cowardice. Even though the Kathar was up against two knights, he fought gloriously, and the knights definitely needed help. I too, became an annoying object in that battle, flung around like a yoyo. Anyway back to the point; I feel ashamed for the side I picked that day. Attacking a Kathar that had up to that point shown no aggression to me, I had sure paid the price with that knife. I hope that I can retain some sort of honour through this letter, to show I am not a senseless citizen, slave to my Empire that I was never truly part of.

May the Sun Guide You,
Reilan Vann-Eskondr,
At'tae'ka of the Sorkarr Cabal
