Weaknesses ADHD: Reinhardt isn’t one to sit still. He’s constantly moving, multitasking, and oftentimes isn’t the greatest at keeping focus. He learns through more hands-on methods, which is why he took to swordsmanship and tactic. This condition doesn’t rule the man, though it is apparent through his quick mannerisms and actions that it can sometimes bleed through his etiquette. Inexorable: Unfortunately for himself, Reinhardt is what you might call unfathomably obstinate. This pertains to everything from fighting to casual, and sometimes not so casual social situations. He has been this way since he was a boy but his time spent with mentors and soldiers seems to have only exemplified this. His obstinance presents itself in his inability to yield during a fight, even to the point of exhaustion, as well as in conversation, despite how outmatched he might be. It has also presented itself in his inability to keep quiet in the delicate military, political or social situations involving familial matters, though it is tamed in the company of those unfamiliar to him, or of higher status. Life Story Childhood Reinhardt was born on February 17th, 287 A.C to Thoron and Elena Typhonus, alongside his twin-sister Cecille. It is told that the young Typhonus did not cry at his birth, citing for Thoron to take in intrigue in his character. He had a troubled childhood, Reinhardt wasn’t all favorable amongst those gathered at the dinner table. Stories of the man locking his siblings in pig steins or inciting fights amongst the children are commonly told in familial conversation. Reinhardt formed a brutal stutter during his preliminary teachings while learning common, therefore his stay within that specific course was extenuated to iron it out. Many remember the horrendous speech impediment from when the boy was young. At age eight, Reinhardt finally took to the sword under Thoron’s personal mentors and sparing teachers. While he wasn’t gifted with a silver tongue, Reinhardt had the cleverness behind his actions, his swordsmanship gave most of his house a keen eye for his talents. Adolescence At age sixteen, Reinhardt fell to a sickness that left him bedridden for months. He was isolated and treated to, though most expected his life to come to an end that year due to his weakened state which was unlike the boy. Thankfully, he rose back to his feet and soon began back on his track. Reinhardt’s dog Bishop was born through a long lineage of Anglian Mastiff’s that were bred within the family. Born from the two prized canines Aldo, and Reese. This dog became his companion through all the highs and lows in his training, often sticking by Reinhardt’s side. Later it was often discussed of sending Reinhardt to the Viridian Order, but Thoron refused, in his perception, the academy was in a sorrowful state and he held true that he assured his son would be a talented fighter, just not through the Knights. He fought in some major battles held between Velheim and his people. Land skirmishes and whatnot, he served dutifully, garnering him many scars though also many stories in his young life. At nineteen, Reinhardt began marking his body with the Creeds of Theomar, covering his arms in the written scripture. Not many understand the story for Reinhardt’s option to do so, some barely know of the tattoos over his body, though they all matched the black, bold aesthetic as he garnered more and more. Adulthood Reinhardt continued to train, taking on the liberty of teaching himself squadron formations, and tactics in small parties. Leading a small band of men to make their way across the Calemberg duchy. In his travels taking on new techniques and checking on the smaller provinces that resided under Typhonus reign. Talk of Reinhardt being sent to Regalia to assist his siblings and family within the capital began to brew as the Dread War began. He often resisted the attempts, though as war broke out he eagerly agreed to fight. Reinhardt served in the Dread War as a simple foot soldier, serving his Empire as he was taught whilst carrying his family's banner. This was a memorable moment in Reinhardt’s life where he believed he stepped into adulthood. The man was finally convinced to come to the Crown City after his brother Karsten’s arrival. Taking on the mantle of an ‘interesting’ prospect that the family share, not exactly ousting him as a blacksheep, but being conscious of his forward nature. It is sure to note that he adds something that was being lost within the family, which were strong, conservative militaristic ideals. He took on the position of Commander of The Grey Company, making quick work of attempting to protect his family from the horrendous creatures that have seemingly invaded the Crown City. His mindset of a soldier following through as he builds strong morale, and comradery with his men-at-arms.
