Plastered all over any available board were a variety of notices, all stamped with the seal of the Violet Order. Even criers out in the street were waving about the parchments, handing them to as many people as they could manage.

BEWARE: WEREBEASTS

Good citizens of Regalia, it has come to the Violet Order's attention that there is a strange sense of acceptance of the resurgence of the Werebeast infection within the city. This notice is to both make the public aware of the dangers of such a sentiment and to formally state the Violet Order's stance on such infections.

Werebeasts are but vampires of the soul instead of vampires of the blood. They share the same sources as that of Sanguine - Arken. They are not good simply because they are the opposite of Sanguine as far as planar essence goes. Sanguine are Sanguine are Sanguine. Leeches in every definition of the word. Do not regard them with trust or regard them in any manner other than disgust, for they are born of the same disgusting infection that runs rampant in the undercity.

The Violet Order does not work with Werebeasts and they do not work with Sanguine. Should any guard be suspected of sympathising or otherwise collaborating with those infected with such afflictions, please send a complaint directly to the Grand Inquisitor, Ania Howlester.

REGARDING VIOLET ORDER HEALTH AND SAFETY

The Violet Order has rolled out a new policy: Every two weeks, our guards will be tested for both Sanguinism and Werebeastism. This is a mandatory procedure for all guards employed by the Violet Order - to avoid or otherwise miss the health checks is to bring about a suspension, followed by termination if the guard in question does not report back within a week to be checked. Of the forty guards that were tested as of the Eighth of October of the year 307, only one tested positive for an infection, to which they were promptly cured and placed on temporary suspension. There was only one termination of employment.

The Violet Order would like to reiterate that there is a zero tolerance policy on Sanguinism and Werebeastism amidst our ranks and within the city. If you suspect any of your friends or family members to be infected, bring them to Greygate to be tested and subsequently treated should they be infected.

Be vigilant, citizens of Regalia. There is evil afoot that would have you sympathise with their infection and illness. It is only through determination and cooperative efforts that we may hope to put an end to the filthy nature of these afflictions.

"Werebeast-ism, much like Vampirism, is curable and considered a blood curse by the public at large, and many states have policies consistent with Vampirism towards Werebeasts. They remain parasites on the godly and righteous civilizations of the world, even if their constant war with the Vampires is a boon to the opponents of the Void."

The Red Usarr looked over the notice with a bit of a growl. "Comparing us to them. Quite annoying" they tossed the notice into their fire. Sipping from a glass of whiskey, the Usarr growled out a bit more in annoyance.

Freya frowned, shooting a brief glance to the various clumps of fur around the floor of her home. She fidgeted with the parchment in hand, then inevitably tossed it in the fireplace, snatching the broom to begin sweeping again.
"Yes, of course Freya, because only having one dog wasn't enough. You just had to get a second one to make a mess of things. Bastard.."

Winifred stared at the post before snickering and sending an elbow into her father, Shane Marth's side. "What do you think of this, da?"

@DolittleGuy

Cheyaoine Shainvrel cringed at the thought of wolf beast diseased individuals being accepted in society.

The halfling stared at the announcement with narrowed eyes, scoffing slightly. Pushing her sleaves up to settle her palms upon her waist "In no way are we like them stinkin' vampires." With a stubborn glare, she stomped off, unamused.

Shane gave a shrug as he munched on some bread. "The checks are annoying. But what can you do, I guess. You want any?" With that topic out of the way, he offered Winifred some mediocre bread.

A Velheimer would stop in his tracks in order to look at the notice, spitting to the side. "We fight the Sanguines with our abilities.. and we only allow those who are worthy to join us in this fight. We are NOTHING like those demons." Moti moves away from the notice, seeming to believe that they side with Sanguine.
