Regalian Common District Deleted?

I was informed by miss Faewyn that the Regalian Common District has been deleted to make room for new and better things. I understand the need to restructure the city, but I think more notice could have been given before deleting my "Fun" House and all it's contents.

Perhaps she was mistaken and it has simply been moved. I am having a hard time believing the staff would just delete an entire section of the city without notice.

I have been out of town on business since Wednesday, but didn't notice anything about it on the forums or I would have petitioned for some more time to move my things.

Please correct me if this is all a misunderstanding. As I am sure you will understand, I am a bit upset.

My tavern was deleted without notice, so i would guess the same goes for your fun house.
 
I am sorry about your tavern. I had many fun times there and chose my "Fun" House location because it was next to your bustling tavern. But wasn't the tavern simply moved to a better location closer to spawn? Perhaps I can expect the same for the "Fun" House?
 
Perhaps mine has just been moved as well. Perhaps this is all just a bad dream.

Perhaps a place in Regalia where I could set up a proper carnival would assuage me.

There are some pretty cheap houses in Regalia compared to their older prices of 35 Silver, they are only 25 and they are for just as long. Maybe you could try and make another like it, and since it's closer to Spawn, more players would like to rush into the house. :o
 
Prices are not a problem.

I still have not confirmed that it is gone. I am trying not to jump to any conclusions. Perhaps it was just moved. Perhaps MonMarty knows what happened and could explain.

The tavern was not deleted, it was expanded and moved to a better location, don't lie.

As for the commons: They were deleted yesterday, people can request a refund on their house trough the forum or in game trough me since I remember the names of the previous house owners.
 
MonMarty Thanks for the quick reply and offer of returned rent. That is very fair. What about materials from chests stored inside the houses? It wasn't much that I lost, but I don't have much either. Maybe others in the district lost much more.

It seems like this could have been done in a way similar to the market district (a month or so of notice given). The district also could have been moved for a time if you needed the land right away for new buildings. Deleting it with no notice seems, forgive me.. rash and if I might say.. a bit disrespectful of the people who live their lives and do business in that neighborhood.

How does one add members to their location? Would be good for faction buildings... :P

OT - Poor Common District... gone in a flash of coding and some enter keys...

faction buildings are not approved in regalia however for role play locations staff are permitted to do so.

A minor miscommunication resulted in the hard deleting of the entire area around the old tavern. Before only houses which were empty were instantly deleted and I always worked with house owners to properly retrieve their items. This time though, I asked someone else to do it for me and I did not explicitly mention that I did not want said person to delete the active houses.

Most of the rentals were on half month, if I refund people for 30 silver, they would get getting 15 silver for the rent and 15 for the materials lost, which accounts to roughly 100 diamonds or something similar?

I don't want to be a jerk but, it half seems unfair that those from the common district are allowed refunds when those who owned much more expensive places in the market district, cannot.... I dunno, just my opinion.

The merchant district was warned a full 2,5 weeks in advance of the deletion of the district, whereas the houses get like 1 day notice, or none at all if nothing interesting is found in their house.

Perhaps people of both group could apply for a refund, the commoners could get their full rent back if they had anything interesting in there, if not, then they get half. Market stall owners could all get half of their rent back.. Given that their major income of silver has been halted until the market district is remade, But even then, my losses from my shop is more than 400silver(original payment of shop was 400s, then buying items to stock my shop with(at least 150s invested in items) barley any time for proper income to happen with it before they reconstruction was announced)

To prevent a misscomunication in the future maybe it would be easier for the team to give a weeks notice to each player, do a /mail send (name) a mail takes only a few minutes to send and could save a lot of hassle and disputes on the forums. No more upset players and a happy team,

A thirty silver refund seems very fair to compensate for my losses. Thanks for taking a look at this. Should I contact you in the game for a refund or will this thread be sufficient?

This is just a minor setback. The Abusement Park shall rise again! (Currently seeking a busy location in Regalia to rebuild.)
 
Yep. My Regalia house next to the old tavern location expired 2 days before the actual expiration date. I lost tons of valuables and had no time to renew the house, due to my money at the time. It is now removed and lost tons of diamonds/bookshelves/wood/leather/string/ghast tears. I am very fustrated that I was not warned. I just bought a house a few days ago then come back to it being gone. I wasted 35 silver yet it just got deleted. :/

Also I cannot get back on the server! Its some bug that will not allow me on no matter what! But thank you MonMarty!

Oh sucks alot that all my expensive valuables were taken away :(
 
i owned the dragons mug in regalia but is was deleted could i please receive a refund i never complained but i did buy it like 2 days before it was destroyed
