    Progression in Vultaro

With the riots in Vultaro raging on, the noble Duke Angelo of the House Oreisio swung into action. Arriving to the east side of Vultaro, the duke arrived with a small retinue bearing a plethora of gifts and supplies. From basic bread to fine wines, the duke arrived in the hopes of bringing the peace. However, the man was met with the same violence and terror the people of the land gave their own liege. They heartily denied the man's offerings and gifts, and scorned him for thinking them weak. Shortly after the declaration, the people took up in arms, barging through the retinue in the hopes of kidnapping Duke Oreisio, however, the duke and his retinue managed to escape back to the docks, where they departed away from the revolt-torn land.

The people of Vultaro continued to loot, destroy, and pillage as they pleased, many of them still in their horrendous uproar against their lord. Within a day of Duke Oreisio's leave, levies of the Regal Crown arrived on the shores of Thraecia. The small militias of peasants were no match for the Imperial troops, and the various riots and revolts were eventually quelled. However, there are still a few keeps scattered about the duchy held by the zealous revolutionaries. The siege of these keeps continue.

    Defenestrations of Calemburg

On an early grey morning, ships landed all over Middle Zastorzy. Old Gods missionaries, construction workers, and a small collection of servants arrived, all bearing various forms of bread, wine, water, and other sorts of gifts. Arriving in villages and cities alike, these people beared the Santorski standard proudly, waving the flag high above them. The common folk watched wide-eyed. Whether it was in terror or rage, no one can say for certain, but the people maintained an obvious aura of discontent. Days went by, and it became evident that these Santorski men were working against them. Old Gods men preached in the streets, garbed flamboyantly in Santorski family colors. Laborers worked day and night constructing large stone temples, and the servants distributed bread and wine to closed mouths. Eventually, tension split into a brief moment of untameable fury. The people of Middle Zastorzy rallied together in a fit of zealous nationalism, and made a united effort to halt the progressions being made. All over the duchy, Old Gods priests were captured and throw out of windows and off of towers in public denouncements. The commoners stormed the construction sites of these temples, ripping the laborers away from the temples while they defaced the half-complete structures. Mothers spat in the faces of the Santorski servants, and the people made their opinions obvious. The streets rang shrill in yelps and screams,"Northerne devils! Usurper! Ours is Silesia! Silesia!"

A large service was held in the humognous Unionist cathedral of Calemberger Dom after their display of aggressive violence. Silent and solemn, a witness has remarked the mass to be one of the biggest he'd ever seen.

In the end, it was tallied that seven holymen of the Old Gods Faith were murdered that day. The event went on to be known as the Defenestration of Calemburg, and the disgruntled peasants of the land still hold their apparent distaste in the current rule, however, things remain in a heavily tense air. Whether these riots and displays will continue is a question that cannot be answered easily.

    Developments in Dragenthal

With the people in Orl still woefully disgruntled over their new Kade lord, the people found themselves with an extra charity shipment of food from the Angle Isles. However, within the next day, people began to fall ill and even die. Blame was obviously shifted onto the charity shipment of treats and foods, yet the people were hesitant to also blame the Kades. Though angry with their leadership over them, the Angle Isles provided food for the cities of Orl for decades; it made little sense to poison the people, even with the current situation at hand. Blame was flung all over Dragenthal, going on to blame those of the House Red. Referencing the attempt of a fabricated claim and the offers of vassalization from the House, the people stood puzzled. Confused and wary, the people remained in their state of discontent, with looting, pillaging, and all sorts of horrors continuing in the county. However, just days after the poisoning, an open letter was pinned all throughout Orl, reading:

With the letter read and considered, the people shrugged the Paschen's and Reinhart's pleas away, continuing with their rioting. A mere day after the letter was received, Regalian levies burst into the county, slaughtering the rebels and ushering the Paschen troops out of the county. The riot has been tamed, and the remaining commoners remained meek and quiet.

In the middle of a busy Merlau street, a town crier walks to his center pedestal, accompanied by a kindly looking old woman. He rings the rusted bell in his hand, and begins to speak.

"Citizens of Zastorzy, on behalf of Her Grace, Lady Lenora Santorski; these preachers acted without the consent of House Santorski, and against the direct requests of Lady Santorski herself. Due to your own actions, they will not be able to face the charges placed against them by the courts. Rest assured, those amongst you who attempted to carry out the justice of the law will be put on trial for murder, though the Lady Santorski wishes that you be treated with lenience, despite the horrific acts that occurred.

To those who suffered the loss of having to witness such brutality, and who lacked the means of acting kindly; we give you this chance. As per Lady Santorski's initial orders, houses will be opened by followers of the faith, welcoming all under their roofs with no matter to religion, nor creed. These houses will offer shelter and food to any who need it, paying no heed to preaching. We hope kindness will be met with kindness, and that the Unionists amongst you will take the time to understand the need for peace."

Leugel was kind of just looking at the letter when his wife walked in. "Sötma, why are you just stand there?" said his wife before he quietly gave her the note and sat down heavily on his chair at the head of the dinning room table. His wife's curious look slowly fell into one of dull surprise. She turned to him and said "Very unfortunate about those Northern Preists being killed..." Then she sat down in at her seat of the table, the silence gripping the room as they both pondered the effects of this news. Leugel knew what was to come as he thought it all out. A new war. It might be between the people of Orl against the Kades, a fight he did NOT want to see the aftermath of, or perhaps between the counts and barons of Dragenthal. It was going to have one result, the weakening of the Regalian Empire once again. He prayed he would be wrong and The Crown Prince would be able to fix it all.

A series of notes are plastered around the hamlets and towns of Middle Zastorzy, all bearing the familiar forest green seal of the House Typhonus. If one were to try to remove said letters, they would seem to simply reappear the next day. Upon closer inspection, they would read..

    "Citizens of Upper Calemberg,

I have recently received word of the tragic events that have transpired here, and I am quite honestly shocked by the vile acts of the House Santorski. How dare they send men over, to steal your land for their temples, to steal your faith for their gain. And after you, the victims of this event, took action against the evils that were being spread, you're being punished. You have seen how the priests carried the Santorski banner, how the servets bore their sigil, and yet Lenora Santorski herself can claim that the men were sent without the House's consent? Lies, I say.

Tell me this, citizens of Upper Calemberg: Are you going to let your land be taken for heathen temples? Are you going to let the wicked warp you into the faith of false idols? Are you going to stand by while the Santorski charge our people for fabricated crimes? I know my answer, my loyal citizens. But do you know yours?

    -Ser Ulric Thane Typhonus
    Rightful Lord of Calemberg. "
