We need a group of Paparzzi like people who roam the streets of Regalia, following Nobles around and writing about every misdeed and scandal and arguement they get into! Then publish it into magazines and sell them to plebs. Similar to our lives, where we (plebs) read about the celebrities (Nobles) and their latest flings and scandals. This was just an idea, I of course do NOT want to be the boss of it or run it. Bboy could though... but just vote and give opinions and comments.

(I dont need to explain in detail what paparazzi do right? just google it. and of course you guys know what sort of magazine right? The title, tone and mood of the magazine series has already been set for you; Flashy, bright, and loud XS)
 
I like this idea. Let us annoy those of nobility with incessant digging into their "personal" lives.
I enjoy ruining things in a passive aggressive manner.
 
If they existed in medieval times maybe but I'm pretty sure if they tried anything of the sort back then they would turn up missing.

It actually would depend. I mean, what did people do for entertainment back then? i wouldn't class it as paparazzi, but more like nosey writers and investigators looking for information that would get the public to buy and read their paper. And i am sure they would assign people to dig up the dirt for them, rather than dirty their hands with it themselves.

Well I know they were called paparazzi but they were similar... just nosey writers and reporters. Also all those bored housewives and peasants with nothing to do but gossip about rumors

I try not to bother the nobles too much, I mean Grailen is already apparently going to kill me and cut off my tail... even though Ive done nothing to him except exist it seems... So anyhow would rather not be hunted down by all the other nobles as well :3

With as much hot air some of them are filled with I'd love to hear stories of the gas escaping.

Whats going to happen if you continue with this.
 
Some places back in the day actually FINED people for gossip, so actually depending on regalian law, technically they wouldn't be allowed to do so without paying for it, literally. Otherwise, I love this idea.
 
It sort of keeps Nobles in line i guess..anything they did would be recorded and known..it keeps Nobles a bit more secretive and less open about themselves and the thing they did

oh yea i did a paper on this before, in old england, gossip got your tongue cut out and other tortures to the face and mouth likes spikes inserted in and stuff

I agree this is a bad idea and annoying for nobles and somewhat unrealstic i admit it, but it DOES seem entertaining and funny..somewhat..

If you decide to go through with this you will just have to approach it differently. Try to make some friends with nobles I'm sure they would pay pretty coin to see some of the others caught doing less than noble things.
 
Yes, but like i said im not doing this...too hard, too busy...too time consuming, hope someone else takes it up though; but yes, Other Nobles could pay me to spy on someone and publish it

i applied for Medavinci and got accepted so....yea i couldnt do this paparazzi thing at all; i just have to finish writing the character story and then...*pop*

I actually love this idea. I'm not even a noble and I've seen a thing or two that defies 'role model' from the nobles.
Actually, I would be much love to help someone if they decided to do something like this, maybe in the act of writing it up in a certain way for the newspaper or something?

But this needs to be tweaked -
Make a newspaper based on this, sell it in RP and display it on the forums. Have a HQ somewhere, like a printing press, and employ staff. Organize it.
 
I do enjoy this idea, though the thought of having someone follow me around is... unnerving.

Best not put Bboy in charge of this however. Non-humans can be so easily 'silenced' by nobles.
