- You may only register for a group of at least 5 members, not including the leader (you).
- You may not already have another "free region" somewhere in the city or outside of it on the same character you are applying for. This includes Noble Estates or other Custom Kit Arrangements.
- Those able to acquire a building from the government or other sources need not apply - this is for criminal organizations (for example: Mercenary, Knight and/or Religious groups).
- You must already have an active group. Applications based on "I'm going to roleplay this group soon" will be rejected. Whether or not a group is deemed active, depends on its presence perceived by Staff, and having a roleplay impact on other players. This is likely the largest cornerstone most applications will die on: Ensure your group is cohesive and active, and it's straight sailing.
Rules for Regions
- All Clandestine bases will be decorated and furnished by Staff, to ensure they're balanced for raids and to avoid having to re-decorate the base each time it passes hands. Players are permitted to change minor aspects of the interior (banners, wool, colours etc.) but are not allowed to change the layout.
- You may not harvest the materials for personal use, given the interior is done by Staff. Doing so is punishable by banning or revocation of regals. Minor edits using the same or similar materials are permitted.
- You may not store materials in these Clandestine bases, period. Items should be stored in your faction's base, even if there are containers (droppers, barrels, chests, etc.)
- There are no formal line counts or line checks to ensure your group is active. Instead, Staff must be able to recognize your group's presence on the server, whether this is from crimes you're committing, events you're hosting, or just general around-ness (social roleplay in your base is not an acceptable usage). In the event your group fails to be recognized, the base will be revoked.
- If for whatever reason your group changes ownership, disbands or is otherwise different from where you started off, please make a ticket through the roleplay discord to inform staff.
When applying, groups can apply for Clandestine Bases in the following places, with the following rules:
- The Sewers: Clandestine Bases in the Sewers have the fewest extra rules and considerations. They are considered "safe" from city interference and raids, and must be placed in one of the defined Clandestine Base spaces in the Sewers.
- The City (Crookback, New Town): Clandestine Bases in the City have extra rules and things to consider about them. When applying for a Base in the City, the applying group absolutely must agree to and understand the potential outcome that if their characters are caught too much in their criminal behavior, and become associated with the base, the state will step in and "re-possess" their base. We understand this is not something that everyone will find fun or enjoy the threat of, but it is there for people who want to play a group that has to carefully manage what "heat" they have on them. Bases in the City are of the same-ish size as Sewer Bases, but will be in modified buildings in a District of World Staff's choosing that best fits the group (specific districts can be requested, but we cannot guarantee that we can fit a base into every possible district).
- Gloomrot Forest: Clandestine Bases in Gloomrot Forest have similar rules to bases in the City, but there is slightly less State Authority, and more threat from the Gloomfolk Guild, if the group is on bad terms with them. Still, these bases can also be re-possessed. Gloomrot Forest bases are the same-ish size as Sewer Bases, but will be placed relative to the landmarks in Gloomrot, decided by World Staff. Specific requests can be made, but we cannot guarantee that we can place the base there.
Application Template
- Your Group's Theme: (Ex. Cultists, Afflicted Gang, Thieves Guild etc.)
- Description: (Describe what you are going to use the base for, and what roleplay you intend to have there. NOT what you want the base or decoration to look like.)
- Region Type & Preferred Location: (Ex. City Base, in Crookback District)
- Leader: (Username you use in-game. You will be marked as responsible for the region)
- Members: (make a list of all members, separated by spaces, on one continuous line, without formatting:
- For example: MonMarty Bunemma Waterdruppel Patsie
- Usernames that are not spelled correctly or do not exist on MassiveCraft will not be included in the region, nor will we go out of our way to find the correct spelling.
- Members who are clearly more active in other groups will be removed from this equation when reviewing the members. This also goes for players who are currently not active on MassiveCraft.
