"Not all those who wander are lost - But I sure as hell am."

A nauseating purple light blinds the stout dwarf for a time, causing him to rethink his life choices which brought him to where he stood, and as soon as his site returned to him, Baard peered down a pathway lined with statues into the magnificent city of Regalia. Without a second though the man's feet began making hasty prints in the snow, forming a path directly towards the nearest tavern. "The Golden Willow Tavern aye?" questioned the dwarf under his breath before making his way in and meeting a rather interesting fellow by the name of Aiden.

The pair passed the time by sharing stories and Baard detailed his wishes to open up a forge, to better his ability at the smithing arts and as a reminder he took out a single coin - A reminder of a promise made years ago, before departing the young man to search for a vacant store as to turn into a forge. The first several buildings were already owned, 'And why wouldn't they be?' thought the dwarf, considering they were prime real-estate it would be foolish to think them vacant. However, soon it was clear that many - If not all the buildings had owners, even the buildings with not a thing inside.

"The heck is goin' on 'roun' here? Oi jus' wan' t'a open up me forge, got a cute name an' everythin'," laments Baard as he settles on a nearby bench. "Oi guess d'is be where oi will be sleepin' tonight." and so the dwarf lay upon the bench to slumber off to sleep, dreaming of finding a vacant building the next day. The next day came and not a vacant building in sight, the dwarf found his original bench and slumped into it with a defeated sigh. "Maybe tomorrow, aye?"

((Please somebody, anybody, help.
I'm a simple dwarf with a dream.
To make a forge and smith away.
But alas, no vacant buildings.
Help me, please.))

When you believe on it, I think it comes true.
not here my friend, here the superstitions of karma do not follow what we determine as fair. This place is ruthless and unforgiving. It shall spit in your face for the pure pleasure of it. And when you think you have found some pleasantry from this entrapment, it will become an addiction, and lead to nothing but more pain.
