This notice would be posted to respectable notice boards across the Regalian surface.

To the Regalian public,

I was surprised to see renewed orders for the arrest of Isidoro Playero and the Red Berets, for Jacobinism and attempted murder. Just two days earlier, I had arrested these individuals to investigate them for the same acts, though I had received word of their dealings from stab victims who claimed to have been assaulted by "Red Hat Men" in the sewers. I interrogated them on these dealings, and even through beatings and the pressure of questions they clung to ignorance on the matter. I found no articles or weapons on the men when I was questioning them, and found no reason to keep them there for supposed innocence on the matter, but stated if they are needed for more questioning they will be called upon. A day later, a new beret was brought in by a purple eyed snake woman and the /honorable and dignified/ Erwin Braunschweiger. The honorable and dignified Erwin Braunschweiger and I brought him to the cell, where the honorable and dignified Erwin Braunschweiger stayed a little longer before the honorable and dignified Erwin Braunschweiger departed. He would undergo further and extremely thorough questioning. At the end of all of it, Osira of the Old Guard was present for the questioning and agreed that he had nothing more to say, and we released him due to this fact, though once again stated he will be called upon if further questioning is required. Strangely enough, we found Isidoro in prison once again, but did not interfere in whatever separate investigation was underway.

This is not me "sympathizing" with Jacobin accusations in any way, I merely did my job, and this is what the result was my previous inquiries.

Signed,
Urijah Jamesson

"Um.. Efi, I don't really understand. Is this whole post only made to say he's surprised that the people he questioned were arrested again? What.. additional information is he giving us? I don't get it." Sierra de Palma asked her fiancƩe.

Valarosta paused after having read the notice over before passing it to Nym'vrae. The Kathar lifted a hand to scratch at the nape of her neck, head lulling to the side as she finally spoke.
"He admits to defying two Commanders' direct orders, then, knowing full well he was meant to speak with the Chancellor before being released. Look at that."

@Katiesc

"I find Braunschweiger sufficient in his position. But this chap certainly finds him exemplary. Though at the same time I question his loyalties as he felt the need to go public rather than go through the chain of command. A strong guard must be unified after all. Mmm dreadful."

The Drachenburg shakes his head a few times as he sips his glass, staring out the estate window over the lawn and flower beds.

"Almost time to begin pruning."

"I dunno, prolly nothing important. Why would a guard make a notice himself instead of goin' to his boss and just givin' the important information to him? I reckon its been posted 'cause nobody else cared or listened and he wants some attention. Makes you sound real important, writing a fancy flyer and sticking your name in big letters at the bottom," dismissed EfraĆn Flores.

"The difference is that Isidoro Playero had been alleged as the ring leader in all of this Red Beret nonsense. Releasing an individual member who pled ignorance was naivety on my part, and a regretful decision. After I shackled and brought in Playero with the Old Guard, it was the Lord Chancellor who should have decided his fate in particular. It is well known I had no part in releasing the Playero during the latter incident."

"He's saying we were released because he and the Old Guard found us innocent, but that we were arrested again anyways because someone clearly wants us dead anyways." Isidoro said, putting the notice down with satisfaction. He stood, eying the notice once more with a shrug.

"I wouldn't be surprised if the Old Guard was behind hiring werebeasts to wear the red berets and attack people just so that they could justify our arrests."
Isidoro mentioned at the Golden Willow counter, finishing the rest of his drink in one go and retreating home for the rest of the day.
