Regalia has always had major hotspot locations for bigger businesses. While smaller pubs have always been great inside houses, they don't often offer great locations or scenery for "big rp" gathering. As such, we have our major public building locations, which are meant for roleplay beyond 5-6 players. Some of these locations have recently vacated (for longer periods of time) and can be re-purposed so they may be used by new players to breathe some new life into the area. We have 4 properties available.

  • Property 1: Previously the Azure Premise, this building has been empty for at least 5 weeks already, with the previous owner(s) abandoning it. It is looking for new owners.
    • The area is pretty large with a walk around street
    • This building does not need to remain, it can be leveled to build something new.
    • Group sign-up is a must.
  • Property 2: Unused space in front of the Knight's HQ. This was never a public building, but we can make it one given the right bid.
    • This area is one way in, back way out, it's a pretty large space.
    • It's right next to a sewer entrance that will likely be blocked off if a bid is made.
    • The building does not need to remain as is. We can knock it all down and build something new.
    • This building must be an upscale establishment, meaning for more richer and upper class people.
  • Property 3: Unused space by the river. No building exists here now, but we can build a narrow building across the street from the tavern.
    • Smallest bidding space. Can accommodate single or duo applicants.
    • Might accommodate two bids as smaller buildings next to each other.
  • Property 4: Previously the Synod meeting hall, the Synod hasn't properly or effectively used the building since its inception. This building is as such ready for re-purposing, since the Synod can just as well meet in the Cathedral.
    • This building must remain as is, because frankly, it's pretty, but the interior can be re-purposed for whatever the winning bid wants it to be, as long as the ceiling remains visible and the windows aren't blocked off.
    • Group sign-up is a must.

What you want to make the place: I want to turn property two into a fitness studio. It would lean towards teaching the nobility how to stay in shape, but would not entirely exclude the common folk from wanting to be fit as well.
How you think it will benefit the player community: It would give the community a reason to get into fitness RP if there were enough people interested in that certain niche. It would definitely be a change up from the normal niche roleplays of taverns or restaurants.
Are you moving a business from a rental property here yes/no: No.
Whether you plan to host events in this establishment yes/no: Yes.
How active do you think this business will be, say how many hours a day, how many days a week etc. Make an estimation, you don't have to be precise: It will be active at least for a few hours a day, depending on the complexity of the roleplay and I hope for it to be active at least four days out of the week.
Agree to the disclaimer that if you are granted this region, that you accept that staff may revoke it at any point in time, that staff will help you do interior, but that you hold no compensation claim if staff decide that you weren't active enough and they revoke the region: I agree to the disclaimer that if I am to be granted this region, I accept that staff may revoke it at any point in time.

  • None ATM, recruitment is in process.
  • I'd need a building a bit bigger than the average House, with room for perhaps a classroom/meeting room, an outside/open almost theatre/stage for performances, (with perhaps a piano or other larger instruments on it?), one more private room for the head staff to speak with other people in the business, consider it almost a school/building for those who deal in education, art, culture, entertainment, and the like.
  • I'd like to see a bigger movement of players to those of entertainments purposes. I've seen lots of soldiers, thieves and other things, but a lacking in bards, poets, actors, musicians and the like. I'd also like to see perhaps classes in music, art, and many of the more cultural aspects going on, or just a newer field that's hasnt been united in the time I've been on Massivecraft before. It gives a field for players to look to other than nobility, guardwork, Synod, Crime, or other smaller ones made.
  • Nope, this would be its first permanent establishment.
  • Yes, I would plan to host events here, from recitals of musicians slash poets to informal gatherings to classes, as well as be an area for other entertainers to host their own events.
  • I personally am becoming more active now than I was the past few weeks, and I'd say that weekly I would be on about 10-30 hours, of that time anything not devoted to politics would be to this business. If I recruit anyone else that time would go up.
  • I agree to the disclaimer that if I am granted this region, that I accept that staff may revoke it at any point in time, that staff will help me do interior, but that I hold no compensation claim if staff decide that you weren't active enough and they revoke the region.

  • The DjƤrv Lodge will be a homey, and comfortable hunting lodge and fraternity to those of Northern descent. We aim to bring a common recreation center to the Velheim within Regalia. Bringing the smaller community together to hopefully garner momentum and cater to the public by offering interesting sporting events all Northern-influenced. Though mainly, it will act as a lodge for hunting and purely casual conversing.
  • Not only would it create a more active scene for the Northern roleplayers, but it would also create an atmosphere of recreational activities for all willing parties. Whether it be organizing a game of capture the flag, utilizing the sports offered to us on the wiki, drinking games, or feasts- this lodge aims to create an activity for all.
  • I am not moving this from a rental property.
  • Yes, tons. To put weekly events together would be the goal for the lodge.
  • I'll be on at least every day for a few hours to help man/run events, and my party will try their best to get on and create roleplay when they can.
  • I agree to the terms and conditions of owning this building.
I'm fine with any of these builds. Preferably a smaller area.

What you want to make the place: I'd like to make #2 an upscale haute-cuisine restaurant, run by my noble character Anise du Brierust. It could likely service higher class commoners, but the upper floors would feature more intimate dens for noble patrons to sequester themselves and watch chefs make the food in front of them.
How you think it will benefit the player community: I think it could become a hotspot for Noble characters to dine, exchange pleasantries, and make conversation. As far as I'm aware the amount of haute cuisine establishments have been minimal, and this could serve as another location for the upper class to hang around other than the Noble lounge. It offers a location for those interested in culinary RP to try their hand at it, and it provides an experience and niche not often explored. I'd like this property because it's not as large as the premise, but it'll provide a more private and intimate experience.
Are you moving a business from a rental property here: No.
Events: I plan to hold events here, yes. Ideally we'd hold a couple every week, or at the very least bi-weekly.
Activity: I'm active for a fair bit of time on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and the weekends. Likely four or five hours on those four days, for an average of 16-20 hours per week.
Disclaimer: I agree.

  • What you want to make the place: We'd like to make the place somewhat of a Tailoring HQ. Ideally we'd like the property next to the Ravenstad estate, as it would be fitting for us to cater towards upper middle and upper class. Bottom floors would be fitting rooms, design rooms, and somewhere to display pre-made products. Upper floors would be utilized for classes, both on techniques to further tailoring skills, and on marketing, as well as somewhere to host events.
  • How you think it will benefit the player community: This place would function as a culmination of Dolce & Delmotta and the Vogue par Ravenstad boutiques, as well as some other skinners, which have already started to outfit the peerage and upper middle class with outfits and accessories. It'd be a place to commission in-character outfits and out-of-character skins, which the playerbase seems to have an insatiable need for. We'd be able to offer classes on skinning ooc, classes in character for those wishing to further their tailoring skills, create new fashion trends amongst the peerage, and provide ample opportunity for fundraising for certain causes. We'd seek to continue providing the community with skins, and roleplay alongside that :-)
  • Are you moving a business from a rental property here: Yes!
  • Whether you plan to host events in this establishment: Yes!
  • How active do you think this business will be: 2-3 hours per weekday, 4-5 hours per weekend day, alongside any event time and time for scheduled fittings.
  • I agree to the disclaimer that if I am granted this region, that I accept that staff may revoke it at any point in time, that staff will help me do interior, but that I hold no compensation claim if staff decide that I wasn't active enough and they revoke the region.

  • What you want to make the place:
    • The place would operate as both an HQ for the White Ribbon Society and a community building where (probably namely commoners/destitute people) could find refuge, resources and company. It would include a kitchen as well as rooms for temporary residency for people without a place to go. Part of it would also serve as a meeting place to the aforementioned organization where they can plan events and coordinate impromptu happenings together. General lounging areas for community members would also be a must. It would be pretty alms-housey but with more room for activity/events. I think any of the properties would work for this, really.
  • How you think it will benefit the player community
    • It would be swell for a few different reasons. I heard that the almshouse is fairly inactive and I think this would be a good opportunity for a group of us to get some charity roleplay going again. Since the WRS would provide resources to those that seek them, such as employment, people could have us promote their businesses that are hiring. Having a project to icly fund would also help our little charity group host more sensical events that could help create roleplay with both nobles and commoners alike.
  • Are you moving a business from a rental property here yes/no
    • No.
  • Whether you plan to host events in this establishment yes/no
    • Yes, hopefully many. The goal would be 1-2 a week, with big ones occurring on a weekend monthly.
  • How active do you think this business will be, say how many hours a day, how many days a week etc. Make an estimation, you don't have to be precise.
    • Our group would endeavor to host some sort of event weekly as well as create roleplay there ideally every day. With the activity we see from our group members, it would probably be around ~2-3 hours a day at least, plus potential additional activity if we expand and if people go in when we're offline.
  • Agree to the disclaimer that if you are granted this region, that you accept that staff may revoke it at any point in time, that staff will help you do interior, but that you hold no compensation claim if staff decide that you weren't active enough and they revoke the region.
    • I agree to the terms outlined in the disclaimer above.

  • What you want to make the place: A lodge similar to the Fighter's Guild/ Companions from TES series to replace the Azure Premise (Build #1). A place for those seeking glory and renown for their families and themselves to go and earn a name for themselves in the world.
  • How you think it will benefit the player community: It will give players a place to connect with a wider variety of characters than they normally would. Furthermore it will offer the chance for more character development through a small system planned by myself.
  • Are you moving a business from a rental property here yes/no: No.
  • Whether you plan to host events in this establishment yes/no: Yes.
  • How active do you think this business will be, say how many hours a day, how many days a week etc. Make an estimation, you don't have to be precise: Estimated up time of 4 hours multiple days per week.
  • Agree to the disclaimer that if you are granted this region, that you accept that staff may revoke it at any point in time, that staff will help you do interior, but that you hold no compensation claim if staff decide that you weren't active enough and they revoke the region: I understand and agree to the disclaimer.

What you want to make the place

Preferably Property #2, in front of the Knights' Headquarters. This would be the Bloodcast Meeting Hall and Training Grounds.

How you think it will benefit the player community

In general, generating RP. The Bloodcast Community has been forging up a series of ideas for how we can focus on Knight RP and bring the city more flavour with our presence. The building itself will be used for rp, a lot of trainings and meetings. We also intend on hosting events with the Viridian Order and any other knighthood presences in the city.

Are you moving a business from a rental property here yes/no

Nope

Whether you plan to host events in this establishment yes/no

Yes

How active do you think this business will be, say how many hours a day, how many days a week etc. Make an estimation, you don't have to be precise.

Several of the Bloodcast players have expressed means to use the building daily, and intend on keeping it active and lively. So I'd go for daily activity.

Agree to the disclaimer that if you are granted this region, that you accept that staff may revoke it at any point in time, that staff will help you do interior, but that you hold no compensation claim if staff decide that you weren't active enough and they revoke the region.

We fully agree to these terms.

  • What you want to make the place: Sort of a quality of life general store, in plot #3 preferably. It doesn't have to be too big. I've passed up the pawnshop idea, seeing as there are so many, and going for a middle-class general store
  • How you think it will benefit the player community: Businesses next to the tavern thrive, and that's what I aim for. I want a shop that people can go to for their basic goods with maybe some shady dealings on the side. I want to make not just the Golden Willow a hub of activity, but the area around it as well. Also gotta give those dirty Velheim some competition.
  • Are you moving a business from a rental property here: Yes
  • Whether you plan to host events in this establishment: Might be kind of strange for a general store, but I'll give it a shot.
  • How active do you think this business will be: I tend to be active at weird times, so it can vary. I estimate about an hour or two a day from myself, not including anyone else who I might hire along the way.
  • Agree to the disclaimer that if you are granted this region, that you accept that staff may revoke it at any point in time, that staff will help you do interior, but that you hold no compensation claim if staff decide that you weren't active enough and they revoke the region. I agree.

What you want to make the place: We would like to turn this place into a pub/socialisation hub poised to assumed the previous role of the Azure Premise in catering to the GMT and Oceanic playerbase, and supplementing it as a meeting location for roleplay cliques by hopefully having a lounge that has map-like decorations giving off the impression of a merchant's 'war-room', it will also be aided by having burgher banter and a more-light hearted OOC atmosphere to be a place of roleplay for both new and veteran roleplayers. We are quite interest in location #3 because of the uniqueness of working in a riverside location. A floated idea was using a decommissioned regalian ship and outfitting its interior to suit this purpose.

How you think it will benefit the player community: When a character enters and can't find a stool by the counter, it's a good thing, not something to address or try and avoid, This is one of the ideals that this place will be ran with, wanting to conglomerate roleplay and allow for groups to break into smaller, personalized roleplay. This will cater to building up a community of AEST and GMT players comprising of commoner-concentric ideas, and involving players to be more invested and kept active in roleplaying on the server.

Are you moving a business from a rental property here yes/no: No

Whether you plan to host events in this establishment yes/no: Yes

How active do you think this business will be, say how many hours a day, how many days a week etc. : Some of the players involved in this, clock in a regular number of hours of at least 4 in MizPanda's example. That aside, as an AEST player, I will be dropping at least, 3 hours of my time daily.

Agree to the disclaimer that if you are granted this region, that you accept that staff may revoke it at any point in time, that staff will help you do interior, but that you hold no compensation claim if staff decide that you weren't active enough and they revoke the region. : Agreed

  • What you want to make the place:
    • I intend to make the property a small gathering hub for characters of more Southern Cultures, something of a fold to the Velheimer gauntlet, but serving for the Daedroqean, Etosian and such other communities to gather together. It will serve largely as a cafe/bar/restaurant, with elements of gambling and recreational activities thrown in. Events hosted shall be primary based upon gambling, displays of culture (such as art contests and cooking contests) with some seafaring and combative events mixed in.
  • How you think it will benefit the player community
    • I hope to drive roleplay in a rather comfortable, speakeasy environment where people can come to relax, converse and have a generally good time with other players. Though serving as a central hub for players of Southern Cultures to come to know each other and roleplay together, whilst also hoping to develop stronger understandings of the respective cultures that visit.
    • I hope to use this property to encourage mingling between the Nobility and the Commonfolk, by hosting events that are open to all, to further push the concepts of commoner prestige, and employment of commoners amongst the Nobility.
  • Are you moving a business from a rental property here yes/no:
    • No.
  • Whether you plan to host events in this establishment yes/no:
    • Yes.
  • How active do you think this business will be, say how many hours a day, how many days a week etc. Make an estimation, you don't have to be precise.
    • Dependant on schedule. I can be active up to 8 hours per day during the weeks, and 4 hours during weekends.
    • Generally, we hope can be active from 2-4 hours per day, at varying timezones.
  • Agree to the disclaimer that if you are granted this region, that you accept that staff may revoke it at any point in time, that staff will help you do interior, but that you hold no compensation claim if staff decide that you weren't active enough and they revoke the region.
    • I agree.
