Prems Losing Features Discussion (please Read)

Hey o SauceBoss here

I made this thread to talk about what premiums think about the new update. And I only want Prems to reply and staff to limit the comments. I think it would be a good idea if you guys can write about what may be abused in this update and what you do not like about it. I think this will help staff to change things and your self to get out your fellings on the situation. I'm not makeing this out of rage because I knew that Massive was going to have to do this but I made it to see what premiums thought and what staff thought so please do not get mad at me (to much). I want this thread to be a place where you can post your thoughts not a page where people argue and say well I don't like your statement because of .....

-So here are some of my thoughts-

-750r loss = big heart breaker

-non Prems can use /fix well now people will be busting out alts to repair stuff

-MCMMO boost gone = endless night of trying to rank up

-I bought Prems to have an advantage and for cool stuff I'm not going to lie about that

-Now I fell more people will not continue there subscription

PLEASE REPLY WITH YOUR THOUGHTS AND DONT CARE ABOUT WHAT OTHER PEOPLE MIGHT THINK ABOUT YOUR COMMENT.

While it saddens me to see some of these features have been removed, I would find it a bit more disastrous for Mojang to shut down MassiveCraft due to not complying to the EULA. The MassiveCraft staff are currently working on adding EULA-compliant features to Premium, which will ensure that Premium will stay equally fun, if not even more.

I will continue donating, as contrary to what you think, Premium is worth buying.

While I am not a premium I do have some thoughts on this.
Most of these "bad things" are good because before it was non-premiums getting slaughtered by premiums if they had the same equipment. Also, leveling your mcmmo abilities is not so hard if you do it right, and you now do it without an extra boost, making it all that sweeter when you do level up.
 
Now that several advantages are removed, I think MassiveCraft will see a large drop in the amount of people buying premium. Let's face it, most people get premium for the buffs, not to donate to the server. As much as I like equality between premiums and non-premiums, I think the server's income is going to take a huge hit.
 
What really breaks my heart is the amount of premiums who are willing to just let the server go down the drain over losing a few features. I was under the impression that people donated because they believed in the server. Also that being said when I become a non prem soon. I am not a hypocrite I will be in between jobs and saving as much money as I can.
 
If you want just premiums to reply to this thread, that's not what you are going to get.
You complain about how Premiums are missing all of these features, and how they can't live with them-
I've been Non-Premium for almost 2 years. Granted I've been inactive for a bit, I've been missing every single one of those.
Also, Minecraft's new EULA is a main reason most of the perks were changed. Not saying all of them, but it may have gotten to a point where the staff decided to give the players these features, because they (The staff) are going to need to think of new ones anyway that would stay within the boundaries of the EULA.
And knowing the staff and the pertinence of keeping the server up, my guess is that they're gonna do something ASAP with quality that the premiums deserve.

Features getting removed was only phase one, as stated by several staff members on multiple occasions there will be another update next week. We'll get new features in time, and I wouldn't panic over anything one thing for the time being. Sit back and relax.

I'm not premium, but I was for a long time. When I lost it, I thought the world was ending. This was a couple months ago. BUT, I've learned to appreciate what premiums have. All the features you list above never used to be there, and tons of people still bought premium. I think it doesn't matter much that some are being removed or being allowed for non perms. The staff do way too much for us and then there's one small error and people focus on that rather the work they do for us. I think we should just wait it out and see what the staff have in store. :)
 
I personally will continue to support the server. While it's income will take a hit, I hope that it doesn't shut down. As for people who stop being premium, well, I'll probably set them to /ignore and leave it at that. Their opinions aren't worth the bits they're stored on.
 
As long as I am still active on the server, I will try my best to support it by buying premium regardless of the features premiums are given.
 
If I had money, I would totally get premium, fancy features or not. It's about supporting the server, not for flashy advantages.

Wait, I donated a 3 month premium, but because I am saving money for a new computer I get ignored, well thanks. You are just generalizing that one pays for the features. Thanks.

Ah, let me rephrase. The people who stop being premium because they no longer get the OP benefits of premium don't have opinions worth listening to. The folks who are just in between two premium purchases are fine.
 
In my opinion, all features previously available to premiums should be available to everyone, minus a few.

If you want your 750 Regals, just drop about 20$ on 10k.
3 month premium cost 15$ [[ I think ]] which means 2500 costs 15$.
There's a guy selling 10,000 for 20$.
3 months of non premium for 10k.

I'd take that. :)
 
I think the new changes are a step in the right direction. It's not like they had a choice. With the enforcement of the EULA pay to win is done. Which should make things more fair for everyone. We will be going through some "growing pains" as a server in the coming months, but I expect wonderful solutions from the staff. I enjoy the new RP friendly features and my family and I will (of course) continue our premium donations.

๖ۣۜPeople used to complain so much about Premium not being near as much balanced as Non-Premium. Now they're balanced, and everyone is going insane and refuse to keep supporting Massive? Can people make up their mind? They got their wish, have they not? Hearing the talk of so many people now stopping donations because they're now actually donations kinda pisses me off. It isn't a donation if you give and get something equal out of it. That's trading. The point of a donation is to give and to be ready to not receive. I feel like some people really oughta read up what donation means before they complain that their donation is now useless.
As for me, I'm going to be trying to rack up more Regals. I might not be able to pay with my own money, but I'll at least try some efforts to keep this going.

When I payed I knew of what was going to happen so I just payed some money. A lil' effort, but if alot of people do this the hit the budget of Massive will take will be reduced.
