I. Preamble 28th of November, 309 AC
- As our knowledge grows, our methods must change to keep up with it. The Ministry would like to thank those who have participated in the recent Academic Forum for their contributions and to the citizens who attended.
- While there are a privileged few Undead who have been pardoned from Apostasy, the common people of Regalia would still not like to be subjected to the sights of walking decay. It is because of this, that legal Undead found within the city must cover any visible signs of their decomposition to hide from public view. Those caught in violation of this will be accused of public indecency.
- The Occult Ministry would like to remind the people of Regalia that summoning Demonic entities is expressly illegal. However, there are instances where one may become an unwilling participant in the machinations of these beings. If you or a loved one have been subject to Demonic interactions against your will, come visit the Occult Ministry at your earliest convenience to discuss compensation.
- Both Sihndar and Manathar may come to the Occult Minister during publicly announced meeting times to request permits to convert willing individuals. Any unauthorized or unwilling conversions will be investigated thoroughly, and those that would abuse the powers given to them are expected to be held accountable by those authorized to perform conversions.
- With the formation of Arcane Consortiums underway, with hopefully more to come, the Occult Ministry would like to incentivize any research deemed valuable in some way. Because of this, any leading member of a Consortium may arrange a meeting with the Occult Minister to discuss opportunities for Research Grants ((Wealth Tokens)) in order to fund their work.
- Like-minded individuals are often difficult to find in life, more so when it comes to the pursuit of knowledge. As we venture deeper into the realm of Occult knowledge, it has become clear to the Ministry that some may have difficulty finding those who share that desire for knowledge.
- As such, the Occult ministry will be having Consortium Recruitment Drives held on announced days within Greygate's Main Hall. Interested parties will be put into Consortiums of 5 individuals and provided a grace period of a week to find a location to operate under.
- And some clarifying notes:
- Consortium residence does not have to be a special building within the city, they may be hosted out of someone's home or business.
- Members of an Arcane Consortium do not need to be Occult in nature, mundane scholars are encouraged to apply.
- As we continue the pursuit of understanding and controlling the Arcane, there is a necessity to reduce harm and ensure the safety of researchers and the public at large. As such, the Occult Ministry is looking to hire Exorcists and Hexbreakers to ensure the safety of it's members and the citizenry who may be unwillingly subjected to foul curses. Any interested individual may write the Occult Ministry or attend open meetings held by the Ministry.
