During the Beauveret trial, I thought of something interesting, instead of repossessing both male and females, wouldn't it make more sense to kill the males? Since the males are the ones that shall carry on the bloodline, they wouldn't rightfully accept any name given to them, therefore, it would make more sense that they die, as to prevent any possible future uprising. However, if you have quarrels with killing children, make it so they cannot repopulate.

NOT MY PAUL!!!!
-panics-

On a side note- it somewhat makes sense, otherwise it's like EH, they are children- they don't really know any better...

-thinks in his head about all the deadly diseases he could release on the noble family's children- >:)

The only way to stop the Male reproducing is to chop off their.... ahems. Thanks, but no thanks.

As Mon explained in game yesterday, here is how I understand it. The beauveret line has been dissolved, their assets ceased, and their name wiped from the books. The name simply does not exist, and if he chose to carry it, it wouldn't hold any power whatsoever and would most likely be seen as an insult by his current caretakers the kades.

Pol is, as far as I know, the only surviving member, aged only 14, carrying around the name beauveret would be like carrying around a wet paper bag.

Sorry I'm late... but what trial?

What happened to the Beauverets?
Last night the Beverrats Beauverets, specifically Marie, were involved with kidnapping the Pileran Noble family. Shortly after they were noticed missing Marie decided to assault a couple of fellow nobles sparking an outrage that ended with plenty of nobility crashing through their house in a rage. That's where they found Xalvador and Sylvia Pileran and freed them. After that the Beauverets were Denounced from nobility, Marie silenced with a steel mask, a few others stabbed and bleeding.
That's my vague, rumor spread, not-so-metagamey rundown.

Oh the...IRONy... hehe

The things I miss because I live across the ocean...

Valsparr Seems about correct. Antoinette Beauveret. Marcel Beauveret. And Marie Beauveret were slain... Or well executed, suicide? I don't really know how to put it...

I hate trials... >_> (I) Maybel. had to get up in front of everyone and try to defend Paul... (ISuckAtProtectingPeople) >.>

Wait, does this mean Carling (Loubelle, Clarisse Beauveret/Paloin) is also dead/deposed as a Noble, despite being married to Duval Paloin?

I don't think so. Even if she is disgraced as a beauveret, she is married in to another noble family and carries the Paloin Name. I think that worst case she would be a lesser noble. Don't quote me on this, that is just what would make sense to me

Gee, who else do we know with the name Marie who was killed terribly? Here's a hint:

I'm okay right? I fell in a river. But other than that - I'm okay right? Eat my brothers if you want! Just um... Me and Maybel are safe right? Riiiiiight?

PLEASE NO.
D:
I still want to be able to be with my pride, thank you very much...

Seeing as the Beauverets were inherited through the female line, you would just be adopted into a new family, as you were. You wouldn't lose your pride, the females would lose their ability to bear children, or be executed, whichever way they wanted to swing with the idea (If they choose to that is).

Guys I'm havings technical issues - I can't quote or tag without writing the whole name out... Halps?

Clarisse is always very glad to find out that her entire family is dead... well then. She would greatly appreciate not being sterilized as Clarisse was out of town visiting the Paloin estates, to see which were in need or repair. Can't guarantee that she will not commit suicide due to the loss of her family, but she was not part or party to the crimes committed.
