well on the topic of chorus related things, those were never actually available in game. Once massive updated to whatever version that was, they gave a temporary shopkeeper in regalia that sold you chorus seeds. Then after that, those were purely accessible via player Trading
I knew this, I just didn't know if the massive team planned to implement the availability of end stuff in the new map, or if they'd go with the shop keeper thing, or have them totally unavailable

Will there be opportunity to get end-based blocks and items? Such as the purpur plants and shulker shells / boxes.
Plz no. Chorus fruit is too OP and has always been disabled, purpur is a weird cartoony ugly block and only is good for non-medieval builds or if you're using the texture pack, and I'm against making things that look ugly without the texture pack. Shulker boxes are too OP and are really an item meant for end-game vanilla and aren't well suited to massivecraft, especially since we have /bp. (not to mention shulker boxes literally mean every time someone finds a dupe thats the end of massive's economy unless staff delete everything duped)

Endstone is good. Endstone can be used to make endstone bricks, and neither of those look terrible. Purpur looks terrible, chorus fruits aren't right for massive right now, and neither are shulker boxes. Save those for later on for plugins and such.

No no I think you misunderstand the purpose, I don't think anybody wants chorus fruit, in the way that it teleports you randomly around. We just want it for the sake of purpur.

but because there's no way for somebody to get it without interacting with another player who happens to already have it, this is something good to think about

purpur looks terrible. If we try to make it really rare I think thats ideal. People will only build with it if they are making a fairly expensive build, and thats really the only medieval themed way it works as a block

Purpur looks great used with quartz. Good portion of sunkiss was built using it as an accent or whatever that's called. And just because it's ugly doesn't mean it should be hard to get lol.

yea, I changed my mind. It can look good, but I still think it should be rare-ish. A custom recipe would be cool.

Wow, Seeing this images just makes it all so official (it already was but pictures are something else). I feel that Ash plains would look amazing pretty much as is, with a couple of low plants, and dead bushes. But I know its a bad Idea to make a new map without wood xD

If it's as ugly as you says it is a healthy economy will make it less common because of a low demand. There wouldn't be as many farms for it. So don't fret about it.

I don't want it to be in low demand. I want there to be a low supply. A low demand does not mean low supply. I'm suggesting making the block be rare, like quartz used to be/currently is.

So then people will want it more? So people will farm it in large quantities?

by make purpur rarer, I mean to to imply that making the block rarer means making it much harder or impossible to farm it in large quantities. Idk what you thought I meant. Idk. I don't care enough about this to make a huge point about it.

Yes, please make endstone easily obtainable. One of my favorite medieval styles revolves heavily around endstone, but I had to ditch that style because of all the resources that would have been required to create a town out of it. The current recipe is too much work for the end product to be worth it (no pun intENDed).

This world looks absolutely amazing, I'm super exited to start a faction in it! Thank you for all your hard work Marty!
