The Church of the Holy Blood of Theomar attempt to convince the nations of Vixhall, Contyr, Jonckheer, Veer and Meereland to support their church. The Highland Finance Director invests 20,000 Regals into regional stability. The Heartland District spends 10,000 Regals trying to convince Vittenais to return taxes. Vittenais however declines. House Slumberwood pays 30,000 Regals to improve their commerce control, yielding some effect. The Royal Lands Finance Director empties out the Royal Finance Bank, and donates all of it to the State. In Herebrand territory, a man with pale blue eyes and shoulder-lenght black hair assassinates the Ostyrian Shieldmaiden in the siege of Marienforz. This negatively affects the Ostyrian troops, but no one else, and the assassin is not caught. House du Briërust sends 12,000 troops north, formally joining Typhonus in their military conflict against Drixagh. House Harhold pays 20,000 Regals to improve local economic stability and spends 20,000 Regals to investigate the culture and nature of the smaller Verreland nations (questions based on investigation can be asked for to Noble DM's in PM). The Al Ramoran Aristocrats attempt to figure out how large or effectively combat-able the conservative resentment is within the Songaskian Masaya. With the small number of members, the 25,000 Regals invested, and the immense size of Farah'deen, the Al Ramoran Aristocrats are barely able to uncover anything, besides uncovering that resentment is in fact vast, and that the Massya is only holding onto power through the virtue of the army and a vague content complacency that Regalia will come to destroy cities again if they overthrow their ruler. the Al Ramoran Aristocrats are subsequently also not included or welcomed, on account of Songaskian spies knowing full well they operate for the Empire. House Typhonus evacuates all villages and townships between Hadrian's wall and the Adlerforz, the first border castle to defend against Drixagh incursion. This massive move of population causes severe damage to the local economy as entire sectors just stop, and others become congested with refugees to the point of buckling supplies (which albeit, were somewhat resolved by Typhonus spending cash weeks before on winter stocks). House Typhonus convinces another segment of its barons to dedicate another 15,000 troops, totalling their Briërust supplied army to 62,000. 10,000 Regals are spent on supplies, and the army takes up defensive positions to brace for the Drixagh army coming through. House Black donates 10,000 Regals to the Holy Drive, and buys one additional ship, sending ships up north to help House Avalorn in the naval blockade of Drixagh. House Avalorn's mist fleet appears out of nowhere (or rather, from a mist) near Viduggla attempts to fire-bomb the Calemberg fleet, saving it while simultaneously hunting down Viduggla's vessels and destroying any naval vessels left in the Drixagh arsenals. Dianne Black furthermore pays 20,000 to East Dragh in a pitch to join Worthing, but the East Dragh Barons are keen on their independence, and refute the offer, despite taking the money. With Avalorn and Black fleets stationed in key locations, naval supremacy for the state is guaranteed, and Ostyr is cut off from the mainland (though Norrland still has some access points). The Orthodox Church pays 5,000 Regals to Treppewitz to try to get them to mobilize to fight Drixagh. Treppewitz however, despite being a close old compatriot of Ulric Typhonus, falls more in line with von Drachenburg, re-iterating that if Calemberg wants Waldmark assistance, they will have to "acknowledge the reality of Waldmark eminence, and acknowledge their own stagnation, no longer treating Waldmark like the inferior smaller sibling of Cadar's military legacy". The Orthodox Militia also sends 5,000 Troops to Alexanderburgh, where they take up defensive positions in the name of house von Drachenburg. Von Drachenburg himself also sends 15,000 troops to Alexanderburgh, paying everyone along the way for free access. House Fristadvlom accepts the Church of the Golden Eye as their state religion, unsettling some of their Old Gods inhabitants to a degree. The letters sent to Zastorzy, despite arriving, are completely ignored, implying that the Drixagghers don't believe Fristadvlom has the right to negotiate, or simply see her as a tool extension of the state now and put no faith in her ability to mediate. Finally, Fristadvlom pays Al Ramora 1300 Regals. Von Duerr pays out 10,000 Regals to Calemberg for medical supplies. The Chancelor attempts to convince the Generals and defectors of the past Elven war to return to Regalia in exchange for "one more service in quelling the rebellion in Drixagh". The exasperated Generals however decline very strongly, saying that they have been fighting a war the Empire was too weak to continue in Teled Methen and Hyarroc for nearly 2 years, and that they are tired now, and that this kind of leverage is inappropriate, and wholly ungrateful to people who held the line while Regalians threw apples into a misty field. As a result, the Generals and the defectors give up on rejoining the Empire, and the Elven principalities are quick to swoop them up. Their extended families, feeling the current social climate of the Empire and numerous rebellions, instead leave the Empire to rejoin their military fathers, sons and husbands in Hyarroc, reducing the economic stability of all regions due to a release of population. The Chancellor also sends a letter to Drixagh for an armistice, which is ignored, especially considering the Heartlanders continue to mobilize against them, and time would not be kind to their side of the war. The Chancellor attempts to provide a counter offer to the Elves, which is so terribly undervalued to their requests that they reject it outright and close the communique again, telling the state to "sort itself" before re-opening conversation, only keeping their tap with Avalorn open. House Delmotte sends 20,000 Regals to House Typhonus, while House rote buys a house. House Viduggla tries to hurry along the siege of Herebrand, but Zastorzy was already able to force a surrender on them. With no option for assistance anytime soon, and at risk of losing many Unionist relics and knights of the Herebrand Order, their Chapter Commander accepts a deal to vacate the area. The entire Herebrand army is allowed to leave through the encirclement, and many religious artifacts are taken with them as Marienforz is emptied, leaving one of the largest northern defensive bastions in Drixagh hands. The Knights of Herebrand are given refuge in Prestelle, where it not entirely clear what their next intended goal is, but for now, the whole of Herebrand lies occupied. House Viduggla also joins the larger Zastorzy army which pushes through Hadrian's wall to face off the numerically smaller Typhonus army. Outnumbered more than two to one, the Typhonus army is resoundly defeated in the field, with the military tactics of the Typhonus generals barely outclassing Ardige Viduggla, thus reducing the advantage that the Calembergers had for many centuries. Adlerforz is captured by the Viduggla forces in the retreat, cementing a hold while smaller detachments fan out and capture the evacuated smaller villages, for the time being, leaving them largely alone and not pillaging anything. The Vladacha and Novolgar Armies resoundly smash the inferior and smaller Chetznitz and Bluchner armies which could not link up to Typhonus due to the immense distance of Opper Calemberg. Chetznitz, because half of their land lay unprotected by Hadrian's wall, is forced to retreat back into Bluchner, while the whole county effectively falls to the Vladno princes, who stop why of Alexanderburgh and the Bluchner border. Also, the South Dukelands are still a mess. The Bulvakian army swells into large numbers, succeeding in invading all their neighbors, while other nations make small gains and losses. Henri's chest grows tight as he sits down in his chair. He spoke so confidently only mere minutes earlier, but the news hit him hard, striking him with physical weakness.
