The creature that eventually assumed the name 'Levi' was responsible for terminating an unknown number of mortals at sea. Often through drowning, or suffocation when the former did not apply. Nowadays he will firmly claim that this was not his choice, but instead, a task granted to him by a Greater Demon, and that he did not have enough of a mind at the time to refuse such commands. The validity of this claim is nebulous.
From May 23, 311 AC to September 11, 312 AC, anyone could have lost loved ones to this Demon if they sailed directly west from Corontium, alternatively one could have survived an encounter with him.
The Demon's current form does not resemble the amorphous, many-eyed creature he was, at this time. -
From September 12, 312 AC to October 1st, 312 AC, encounters with the Demon did not result in attempted murder, instead, robbery seems to have become the primary motivation. Both valuable and useless items could have been stolen from characters or associated loved ones who sailed anywhere directly west of Corontium during this period.
From October 2nd, 312 AC, and onwards, any regular spottings of the monster will have become impossible, as that was the day he left the sea behind. Throughout the rest of that October, the Demon was consumed with a habit of possessing bodies, rotating through any mage he could infest, before discarding them. Sudden changes in the temperament of friends, loved ones, or acquaintances during that month can be attributed to this Demon, though proof of such will be difficult to find.
None of the bodies were quite right, so they were all discarded eventually. -
It was discovered early that the Demon lacked love. As a commodity provided by others, all those that he previously possessed had loved ones, those who admired and cared for them, but none felt that way for the monster. This incited a hunger that could not be sated, no matter how this aspect might have changed or how many loved ones he might personally garner.
The Demon that eventually assumed the name 'Levi' is a bottomless pit embodying the desire to be loved, adored, and admired. No matter whether or not he truly understands the mortal condition, whether or not he truly grasps the proper way to earn the fondness of others.
It is the most important thing in Levi's world, nothing matters more.
