CORE CONCEPT
Nehetsi is a powerful Mage ultimately divided by internal and external struggle, between his heritage as an Asha and his Occult nature, his opposition to imperialism and slavery and his place as a Scribe and the High Advisor of a noble house, and his friendships with those of both Fornoss and Estelley and the ancestral trauma that divides him from both. Once a pacifistic healer and scholar, after a great deal of tragedy and regret he has embraced the inward flame of his Magic and turned his gaze not towards rebuilding what has been lost, but building a better world entirely.​

APPEARANCE
Like many Silontaar, Nehetsi's most striking features are his neon markings and eyes: glowing magenta against midnight-blue and storm-gray hued fur. With his angular face, flat nosebridge, pointed ears, and protruding canines he strikes a dignified and fierce visage that is undercut only by his small stature, long tail, and generally fluffy fur. Whilst he is often seen with a large, heavy coat of some kind, more and more he has been turning to the ancestral dress of the Asha in the form of a Satoor of brilliant red and gold, especially with the tendency for his Magic to burn through his own apparel.​

BACKGROUND
Infancy | Whilst many Silontaar in the years after the Cataclysm had become migratory, Nehetsi was born within Silontaar itself. The child of a powerful Mage and the patriarch of a clan dedicated to the careful safeguarding against Magical calamities, he was raised strictly and per very careful tutelage and instruction, even in his earliest years when his Magic first began to make itself present. As part of a clan dedicated to maintaining a constant vigil, Nehetsi was enriched with the past of his people and the guilt associated with it.
Childhood | During his childhood Nehetsi was kept carefully to his rigorous studies under a great manner of esteemed Mages and tutors. Despite his more carefree attitude as a youth, his curious and social spirit was quelled by his separation from others of his age, and his wanting to explore the world was expressed in the medium of books and stories. Since he learned how to read, he was a voracious and avid bookworm in what spare time he had away from his rigorous training and the nosiness of his clan.
Adolescence | Nehetsi was amongst many Silontaar to attend the city's universities and centers for Magical study, his first taste of freedom being the chance to live apart from his family and study Magic on his own terms. It was in these years that he began to find a love for the world outside and began to become invested with the plights of the Cearden Ailor. His first true forays out into the world happened during this time, as he journeyed not just to the nearby Cearden kingdoms but the far-off Sundered Lands to study terramancy.
Young Adulthood | As he grew older his own tensions with his family likewise grew, as a result of the constant pressure from his father and living in his shadow. Such an event came to a harsh head shortly before the outbreak of violence in Carrhen and Soren. Distraught and devastated by the bloodshed he witnessed just outside of his home, Nehetsi left Silontaar and put his education on pause to follow the bloodshed back to Regalia, realizing that watching and waiting wasn't a truly sustainable way to improve the world.​

TRAITS
Stoic | After being hardened by personal tragedy and the events of the Venesh Grief, Nehetsi has learned to let go of emotions, not burying them but instead letting them flow through and out of him.
Forgiving | Unlike many Baskarr, Nehetsi is not an overtly vengeful person, instead forgiving and letting go of those who have harmed him, to prevent cycles of hate and bloodshed before they can occur.
Empath | Nehetsi is deeply affected by the suffering of others, through tragedy he has matured and has turned towards not just trying to help others, but to be there to support them when and where possible to alleviate pain and suffering.
Scholarly | Nehetsi is a scholar by nature, a Scribe of the Empire and a student of astronomy, medicine, and natural science. He much prefers to take a scientific, calculated approach towards solving problems and helping others, unable to turn to emotion without fear of losing control of his Magic.
Naturalist | Nehetsi cares deeply about the environment, and will do what he can to preserve, protect, and care for it. As an engineer and a Mage he is dedicated towards ensuring the environment is protected and kept safe and clean.​

@ChapterDeath Hey! Updated Naviri just a tiny bit: I removed both Mimicry and Illusion and replaced them with Breaking and Thanhicism, and altered one point from Dexterity to Wisdom to give him Exist Avatar (to keep him being able to take on an entirely new form for the sake of his sneakery). Hopefully all is well and good!

@ChapterDeath Hey! Updated Naviri's sheet again. Changed some of his abilities around per the new Silontaar ability and the new Magic changes; I also redid his Specials because Magic Specials got updated. Hopefully everything is in order!
 
@ChapterDeath Hey! Okay I apologize for submitting a re-review again so soon but I just wanted to quickly swap Scan Sight for Hue Shift, Scoundrel Pack for Purity Pack, and update Naviri's bio and stuff with more accurate information now that I have a clearer idea of how I'm playing him. Apologies for the inconvenience, my brain is a goblin.
 
@ChapterDeath Hey! Updated Naviri to be a Void Mage and swapped out Soulrend Pack for Blood Incantation. I wasn't getting any use out of Soulrend Pack and for want of making Naviri an actual Thaumaturge I decided to give him Blood Incantation.
 
Updated proficiency and page format. Slightly reworked personality/backstory (moreso just updated them and added some more detail/explanation).
 
Once more updated! Shifted around some proficiency points to update the feel of Naviri and make him feel more like a support/Magical Being(TM).
