Barely attending any source of school, this hindered his social skills a considerable amount before he spent time ironing out the language, pronouncing his syllables despite the heavy accent.

    Personality and Abilities

    Option Two: The Core List

    • Choose your Character Alignment
      • A neutral evil character is typically selfish and has no qualms about turning on allies-of-the-moment, and usually makes allies primarily to further their own goals. A neutral evil character has no compunctions about harming others to get what they want, but neither will they go out of their way to cause carnage or mayhem when they see no direct benefit for themselves. Another valid interpretation of neutral evil holds up evil as an ideal, doing evil for evil's sake and trying to spread its influence. Examples of the first type are an assassin who has little regard for formal laws but does not needlessly kill a henchman who plots behind their superior's back, or a mercenary who readily switches sides if made a better offer. An example of the second type would be a masked killer who strikes only for the sake of causing fear and distrust in the community.
    • Choose your Character Personality Type
      • The Campaigner | ENFP-A
    • Choose your Character's Religion
      • N/A | Nace formally doesn’t believe in any religion personally, although he acknowledges their existence. He’s seen the void, and its corruption as much as he’s seen the abilities that the devout Unionists express. He himself is not a believer of any of these, in fact, he made a choice a long time ago to give up any faith he had only to rely on himself, and nothing to save him.
    Life Story

    • Nace was born within Kinwrey, Gallovia to a prostitute and an unnamed wealthy man, clearly of higher class within 270 A.C, although his official birth-name was Vilhelm and he grew up to be a small devil of a child and was sent to a boy home at a young age due to his rampant activities, and his mother not being all that caring for the young boy.
    • Through his years of abuse as a child, the man came out of it with a sort of attitude that you find in soldiers. Perhaps those younger years were simply foreshadowing his inevitable future.
    • Within the meaner streets of Kinwrey, there was no option, in the grand scheme of things as you were either a dockhand or a gangster, and well Nace took his charm, and brute force to criminal activity- many, many people wanted to be the top of the food chain in a world where the Highlander boy simply wanted to survive.
    • He took to the more deep-rooted causes of crime as he grew, learning how to fight from his small group of undesirables. Somewhat of a mix of Lecgaen, boxing, and simple dirty tactics as he immersed himself further. This is also when Nace grew to find a keen taste in smoking.
    • Although his friends knew him by Vilhelm, Nace wasn’t keen on keeping the name as word began out that he was a rather prominent thief within the region. Maybe not someone to be looked up to, but he held his own respect amongst gangs. Though, when a robbery went wrong, and someone did die- the name ‘Vilhelm’ disappeared for ‘Nace’ as he planned his escape.
    • Figuring the tales of the crime-lords within Regalia existed like folklore within the Highlands, Nace figured he’d set out to the Holy City on a one-way merchant ship.
    • He was quickly swept up in the life of crime, meeting a man named Sloan Perrot in the underbelly of Regalia, and soon the cut-throat had himself work. No one exactly knew the extent to which this gang was going to find themselves leading.
    • Soon rising to power, The Dead Men held considerable control of the slums. Participating in intimidating, ruthless battles which earned all of them their scars. Soon being some of the most wanted criminals in The Crown City.
    • Though this reign lasted for a while, and Nace’s name was known, his head was wanted on a platter. Sloan soon invested his time under an Arken, and the core Dead Men themselves didn’t last long. Nace took the reigns, and soon it was only Nace and Sophie left within the city, still invested in crime.
    • Nace took a casual, back-seat role in crime for the next year. Drinking, making his rounds as he kept on the low from just about everyone. His name simmered down in want and became more of a remembered story that few shared in passing.
    • But this wasn’t the end for him, his own power grew when he ran The Blackhawks, making a true Jacobin stance on Regalia, almost a ‘workers revolution’ as Nace’s rhetoric tore through the streets. His revolt was short-lived, though definitely essential in showing some kickback within the gang-system. This is where Nace’s eye was taken, along with his two fingers on his left hand. Leaving him a basic, brass hand capable of holding most things, though breaking frequently.
    • Soon, The Blackhawks become nothing more than a story as well. Six months passed before much even happened with the system. Nace joined a house-guard, only to be passed down to the guards again and again for regular beatings.
    • Sloan Perrot reared his head around once more. Nace truly felt betrayed by the man, spurring a fight upon meeting though, in the end, Nace’s loyalty held true. Agreeing to help him once more as the vicious cycle continued.
