He turns from vitriolic malice to random praise at the drop of a hat, clearly caring little for how others view him and acting fairly unstable - even contradicting himself or acting the fool just to provoke a reaction. He is a zealot, and a strong believer in the supremacy of his people. His chaotic and aggressive personality can lead to some viewing him with annoyance and irritation, though his usefulness and eagerness to serve has often made up for his less desirable traits. Feel on the inside: Néhrat has grown sick of everything in the way of appeasing his chosen patrons, namely: 'The Void Prefect of War'. He views 'man' as high on the list of beasts worthy of hunt, and sees himself as an apparatus of the Void. Aware of his fanaticism, he has embraced his self-appointed role as a Shaman of Bloodshed. All races untouched by the Void's gift are inherently, undeniably inferior, and should be subjugated or destroyed. He is confident that his people shall prevail, and wishes to aid in this to the best of his abilities. He hates a great many things, being easily irritated to a point where he deals with problems through violence more often than not. Towards his friends and kin: While harsh and snappy, Knéll shows a deal of care for those who share his race or earn his companionship. For as much as he believes in culling the weak, his friends and other Kathar will find more Knéll to be more capable of empathy and decency around them. He could be compared to a seemingly abusive older brother. Caring for their development, but wanting to toughen them up at the same time. Those he truly respects - such as Leaders and Faï’llir - are treated even better, as though worthy of treatment bordering worship itself. Morality: Néhrat is an immoral racist and elitist. If a person is not touched by the void, they practically disgust him. Their only recourse would be to become void worshippers and understand their own inferiority when compared to Kathar, Silven and the possessed. He shows little mercy and is very direct in his attitudes. He justifies his cruel, barbarous violence as being all in the name of praising his gods and people. Objectively, Knéll is a ruthless, vile man with a dark and often heartless moral compass to all but fellow Kathar. Life Story Birth & Childhood Born from a particularly passionate lust ritual, Néhrat has never truly known who is biological parents actually are. He was born on the 9th of September, in the year 195. Néhrat is raised by various participants of the aforementioned lust 'ritual', and is afforded an education of letters and symbols: he was to grow into a ritualist and bodyguard - to be heir to his various fathers, and one day take up the mantle expected of a Crimson Witch. His training began young. Early life Néhrat developed well - taking part and helping to write the various She'llaq ritual grounds required by his coven and kin. He began, as well, to train with a spear - as it was expected that all within the cult be capable of fighting. Between the various blood orgies and screaming rituals, Néhrat managed to find friends among other cults, and he was advised to start making as many connections as possible for his future career. It was through these encouraged connections that Néhrat would later find his way into the Void Cult of Destruction. It was at this point Néhrat also began taking up various studies within alchemy. He learned of poisons and aids alike, going on to help his clan in the creation of all manner of potions. Néhrat, still in the process of making a name for himself, split his time between training his skills as a fighter, and refining his ability as a ritualist and potion seller. In his arrogance, he assumed his potions were too powerful for normal travellers, but it turned out he just wasn't mixing them properly. Mid life Néhrat had worked his way up, now a capable and even respected torturer under a Saivale lord. He honed his skill with polearms, now learning beyond just the spear - veering into the similar likes of glaives and bill-hooks. When required of him, Néhrat aided in the completion of ritual after ritual, and began to take great pleasure in combat sports once he had become proficient enough to defeat other Kathar himself. Néhrat continued to make time for his potions, but as his career took over he had less and less time to devote to such studies. He no longer had the ability to pursue alchemy much further than he already had. Later life Néhrat's aggressive nature and reputation for violence had gotten him noticed by a few shamans amongst the Cult of Destruction, who recruited him to act as a "training partner" for Faï’llir, half-expecting he would die. In truth, it's likely they were merely making a play against a rival Saivale - Néhrat's employer - by removing one of their valued bodyguards. Néhrat continued to perform rituals - now capable of many on his own - though he did enjoy the honour of sparring with and helping train the Faï’llir. He was skilled enough, or perhaps lucky enough, not to lose his life doing so. Néhrat took particular liking to a Silven by the name of Anri'ellarindel, who despite being just as entitled as most of the other Faï’llir, actually expressed great interest in his techniques and valued him as an asset to her training. Néhrat was pleased by this, and decided he was indeed worthy of better treatment. After some thought, he declared himself "The Scarlet Warlock: body-guard to Anri Nu’ssaja", and acted as a main tutor to the girl for the coming years. Recent life It was merely two years ago that Anri won The Carnage Feast of Thräl’laniir, and was declaired Mi’trais of 305. Néhrat was pleased to see who he considered his pupil, now his equal, complete her training. When she set off for Regalia, Néhrat packed his things and followed - eager to see what rituals and chaos they could bring to the Ailor. Written with help from @Gwyndo
My review: Visual Information: Please remove Body Build from beneath this section as it is no longer required. Life Story: I'd like you to expand on the life story section to flesh him out more due to Néhrat's older age, especially in his early or adulthood. Did he have any jobs along the way that developed his character while working towards his future body-guard career? Did he have any mentors of his own to lead him on his way or was it his connections with his cult? Another bullet point or two would be fantastic. Make the changes in purple and tag me after you are finished! @Ashen Wun
