What's up? This isn't anything special- JUST my thoughts on my own roleplay experiences/troubles and where I am now. This may/may not be updated or anything based on the reviews and how much time I have on my hands. So let's get this going.
In the beginning, there was nothing, no... scratch that, there was "coolcreeper78" and I believe I jumped into nobility straight off the bat, joining some meme-teir house called the Crawley's, and at the time I was faithfully devoted to playing my slapstick sarcastic character Eaven Crawley. I took an extended break from Massive which lasted for about six, or seven months before returning. When I returned the lore was changed drastically, I basically started from square one and created a pygmy Orc in the sewers named Muskrat (@Jouster), and he and his friends went about starting trouble. Now, I wouldn't consider myself to be as loyal as I was with the character, in fact, I believe later into the months I was accepted into House Norrvakt as Baird who was really an unstable mess. Baird's persona was so bad that even when he was serious no one could tell, and it was at fault of myself for practically making this character just an idiot, in the end, I believe he disowned himself from the family and whatever else. I sought to be more down-to-earth in my roleplay, and really connect with different players by being not stitching myself to this sarcastic, fearless, and overall stupid character designs that were following me everywhere I turned. Not too long after I created Tanoro Viduggla after some convincing with ( @HydraLana ) to let me create this young spry commoner. After a while, this also got repetitive and I became reliant on my roleplay from a certain group of people, and the whole plot to have a more serious character was flawed in the beginning when I made him. After all these learning experiences, it finally led up to Euan de Santigo ( @fuithlug ), even people inside the family were a bit wary of me joining considering my history, though on the first day roleplaying it was pretty clear that this was going to be a long-lasting character. A middle-aged man, damaged by his years of fighting and loyalty by his brother in-law's side, making him quite dangerous and unpredictable, but also fun to be around- yelling shanties and spreading his superstitions about the peerage. To this day, I've always enjoyed Euan as a character despite his outlandish nature, I felt it was a good mix of my past, and a representation of a character that my play-style fit. After years of fooling around with Euan, the family dropped and I went on to play one of my better-known characters Nace Trevaskies, who ( @Empaul ) convinced me would be a long-running gang of simple Regalians, a true gang which I bought into entirely. This was my more memorable experiences here on MassiveCraft due to the core essence of the gangs' mentality. The things we pulled off and the end of it all was rather intriguing to me which left me playing Nace months after the Dead Men gang ended. As soon as this happened, after Nace, I've been mainly focused on community building. It was an on-and-off repetition of me creating characters and shelving them until I finally made my Orc, Kalmar. This was a learning experience for me, I really got to see the heart of the community when I made an Orc Goor. Though, I enjoyed the process of it and reviving a race that I've enjoyed ever since ever was a pleasant and rather exciting situation. After a while that fell through due to some OOC complications and I've honestly looked into getting back into nobility or the crime scene, but it has all been up for question as a million character designs course through my head. My question to you is what makes you want to continue playing a character, and solely that character? Is it the OOC relations, or perhaps the experiences with the OC? Let me know.
Hopefully, I'll do more of these history/question things, it's a good source for others as well.
