Dear 'benevolent' reader,

To whoever chances upon this note of mine, you must surely care about my self-indulgent twaddle. Nevertheless, there are times in life where one must take a break from their convictions, and truly ponder whether it has been meaningful -- this exact time has come for me now.

Some thoughts pass my musing in free time whilst I wander around this 'holy' city. Some questions I mull over, perhaps even drivel on for far too long than what is necessary. Some answers that I wish to seek for, but many hurdles come in the way as is with Life. Today, I humbly present the reader several questions, the first being of utmost importance. Do take the time to read them over.

When the facade of flesh and memories change with the passage of time, morals come to change as well. What are some things we do now, as supposed 'Regalians', that will be deemed irresponsible, unacceptable or mayhaps even... disgusting, a hundred years from now? I speak of the Regalian folk that carry on their livelihood above, and am not exclusive of those who choose to stay below with their nefarious deeds, whether they identify themselves as a citizen or not. This then begets a question: Whether suffering is necessary as part of Alora's life? Inevitably, we sacrifice things at the expense of others. But how far are we willing to go? When is it a good time to stop and re-think better alternatives? I speak of this in the context of race and religion -- a topic we are so averse to.

Another question reader, have you ever seen the face of Death? Whether you think you have or you haven't... how could you be sure?
After all, Ser Death has a face that takes many forms. We see it on the streets and in the fields. It can come even in times of supposed joy; in the pub, at the bottom of a bottle.
Does that sound familiar?
In recent times, many of us has seen Death. It comes in the form of the Clickers that habitually raid us. These 'implings' toy with 'precious' life. These 'implings' disrupt livelihood and send many into hysteria. These 'implings', have goals of their own. Ultimately, this ties in with my first question -- though, I will make a claim that I do not side with these Clickers on the account of collateral damage caused to nab the Manathar. I make use of the Clickers as an analogy: how far are we willing to divvy the racial divide before everything falls apart?

As ghosts stories and myths are no longer superstitions, they have become a horrifying reality that we've been forced to recognize -- I am intent on bringing this recognition. To you, the reader.

A Simple Musing. (308 AC, 20 March). Retrieved from my journal. Do not bother to find me out.

((OOC: Just curious of your character's thoughts and matters on racial divides, superiority and xenophobia AND death. This can be taken as a Character Study! I'd like to see IC responses though. I will make a note that whatever response you put here is OOC knowledge and is NOT TO BE TAKEN IC-LY BY OTHERS unless you state otherwise, so no metagaming.))

Im the Words of our most paradoxical All Being,
There are many thoughts of many gods because simply each of the eight like most of Regalia are of incredibly different minds, yet as I am not a god but served and serve as ritualist to each and all of the Eight. I shall share the unique perspective I draw from these words, To Begin let me state: What is Of the Void and does not Either repent or show capacity to repent the destructive ways of this Foul Entity shall find no solace in either my words or my acts. To the Kathars, I say if you will stand at my side against the Void and show yourselves open to discussion and Debate over your connections and alliances to the Void. I will welcome you as Kinsmen there is no necessity to convert you to my ways if you will simply act as loyal citizens or at least as Comrades against the clickers then you'll find me a ready friend. Lord Handrin and Lady Julla the Goddess and God of learning and Wise Rule call us to reform and enhance perspective based on mutual discussion. Yet forget not, all races even [my former race and the race which most of my blood kin remain] Ailor that though the All Being and the Spirit give us a capacity for loyal faith. We mustn't put our faith before our humanity, Put simply care not if you give charity or protection to Kathar, Varran, Url, Nelfin, or any other race for it is not Sin to Help those that need it.

For if we do not look to helping those most vulnerable the child, the broken, and the Lost then how will we survive. Cruelty and Division can subsist in Good Times but in the Bad they Merely weaken us. Extend a hand to your neighbor, be it sewer dweller or noble for that is how we may fight back the void. The Soothsayers said that we would all fall alone so let us not be alone.

Call to your gods, Call to your Kin, and Put aside your differences. We are no longer Regalian or Traitor nor Criminals and Law Abiding citizens we are simply Mutual Survivors. To create distinction, beyond those willing to Cooperate and those that refuse will be to break our tenuous defense against the clickers and send us spiraling into the Void.
