More Player Models Is Updated!

Whether you loved or hated it, just thought I would make a point that MPM had been updated a few days ago, which I heard from Xeimos

If you don't know what MPM is, its a mod that allows for the player to customize their player model to great extent- in other words extending rp... Or goofing out in your house elsewhere.

Seriously though, please don't ruin roleplay by running around as a mob or a bunny-corn. If you reallly wanna mess around, do it away from rp.

I myself love the mod, and was super excited to hear it updated.
And with that, here is a big question, where and how to download!

1. Download Minecraft forge.

• Go to this link ----> http://files.minecraftforge.net/
• Click the recommended update, Installer.
• After downloading, run the file. Install.
• Go into your .minecraft file (%appdata%, Roaming, .minecraft)
• Create a folder named "Mods" (No "")

2. Download MPM.

• Go to this link ----> http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic...haracter-creation-screen-animations-and-more/
• Scroll down, and click download.
• After following through and downloading the file, drag and drop the .jar file into you "Mods" folder.
• Close the folder, and boot up minecraft.
• Now you have More Player Models!

It was implemented, but after the 1.7 update it was taken out again due to incompatibility with 1.7. Everything had to be redone. Now it is, so it can be put back in. Implemented yes, active no.

Yes, but you can't see other people's MPM models. You can see yours, but no one else's. Once it is active on the server again, you can see other peoples'.

Cayorion Yeah, I realized that when a faction member downloaded, and I couldn't see their changes. XD

Well I got it off the minecraft forum and I didn't get any viruses or anything, so just go to the normal page and not the link. There is also a good instalation tutorial I found if you need a link for that

I don't know why, but I never liked MorePlayerModels that much. Maybe it's about the fact that my character was always reset to a female after I logged out and the same happened to other people. Or maybe it's because it's a change that I need to get used to. Well, we'll see, I guess.

My problem is that I can't get forge to work with optifine.

He's right. You can change your appearance for yourself, and see it as the new change, yet everyone else will have their old models and you can't see their changes.

It is compatible with optifine, download forge and forge-compatible optifine, throw the fine in your mods folder, boom. Compatibility.

Ugh, I keep trying to install forge but whenever I download the installer and try to install it, an error shows up saying "you need to run 1.7.2 manually to install this version" even though I AM running it as the installer is open. I've even tried opening the installer, THEN running the game. Nope. And all the other downloads are a bunch of .jar files that have NO installer inside, and I'm not just gonna stick random files inside my .minecraft folder...

Any help?

Yes. The same way, I believe. If not, you will have to install manually.

1.7.2, or 1.7.4? Also, you should not be running it, you should have run it. Run 1.7.2, then quit, then run the installer. And go all the way in-game, don't just pick 1.7.2 for your versions.
