Many used to often think of him as a loner and a drifter, spending time in different places around the Archipelago and outside, but as of recent he has formed relationships and regular acquaintances across the City of Regalia some of which he trusts and feels comfortable to act himself around. Mordred has a rough demeanour and can be a harmful factor in making friends and acquaintances, but the fact remains Mordred has a lot to teach and offer when someone gives him the chance. He often gives off a different demeanour from person to person, a man timid to let people on who he is but fails to consistently act the same way each time and having a way of acting to person to person. Second Paragraph: Mordred often sees himself as a drifter, either drifting from place to place by himself or with his significant other, either in the City or in His cottage away from the rabble. He is often guilt ridden from his time as a mercenary and in the last few years Marken, often convincing himself he was serving the Empire but shaky on whether it was for his own personal gain for power, this fact laps his self confidence quite severely at times, especially when remembering the aftermath of the event, often sinking him in to a deep depression in which he seeks out privacy as well as reluctant to talk about his past . The man has seen fight after fight and war after war, either selling his sword on his travels or giving his sword to the Empire, the man often feels worn down by it all and would rather sit down than train but knows that he must struggle on for at least another decade, or so he jokes with himself. Third Paragraph: Mordred loves his Family, he dotes on his nieces and nephews, having a fondness for his nieces and high expectations for his nephews. He will often always give his wisdom to them whenever he can, this extends to his immediate family, namely his siblings whom he loves dealy besides one or two blights in his eyes, often feeling a strong bond with his older Brother, William. Mordred currently has few friends in the Archipelago, his time away often makes it difficult to maintain such friendships, though on occasion he will share a drink with the likes of Jared Kade. Fourth Paragraph: Mordred is a kind man outside of the battlefield, he will often spend his time enjoying himself with his friends and family. He is charitable and kind to those who need it and will often extend his hand to those in jeopardy. On the battlefield however he is a hardened Warrior, serving his Empire and people to the best of his ability, using ruthless methods of fighting to end the fight as quickly as possible and move on to the next, the man has no qualms with selling his sword for cash when short on travel funds and will often. In truth the man loves the fight and battle, however, he has learned there is a place and a time to love it and another to be a civil man. The man puts a considerable amount of effort in to coming across as a strong upholder of the law in the public eye, he will go out of his way to show his appreciation of it for the sake of his family that dabble so deeply in the subject, however when he is out and about he has been known to skirt around the law at times sometimes even disregarding in times of emergency and disarray. Life Story Birth/Childhood Mordred was born 261AC to Willard and Guinevere Coen. Mordred discovers the challenges he faces socially, unable to sufficiently lead a life of politics. Mordred struggles through his education, barely passing. Mordred shows promise as a warrior, spending his time practicing by himself and learning to draw and smith, fighting with his brother, Osric, the fights become violent. Mordred becomes close with his brother William. Teen/young adult Mordred’s relationship with Osric becomes disruptive and violent, getting into needless arguments and often being beaten by him. Osric is sent off to the silverwolf mercenary group. Mordred is sent off to learn Feer Drakken Mordred excels in his training, melding well with the ranks and showing talent and skill. Mordred graduates Feer-Drakken and starts his travels getting into mischief selling his sword. Adult years Partakes in the Chrysant Wars as a newbie Partakes in the ranger crisis, gaining reputation as a skilled fighter. Mordred fights in the Qadir war, joining Cedric, Thomas and Tristan on a mission and fought hard and excellently. Mordred partakes in the Hadravian war, saving the Chancellor in the process. Mordred becomes rivals with Jared Silverhand. Mordred goes off traveling, getting up to all kinds of mischief Mordred partakes in the Freya Lo crisis. Mordred is captured by Lo forces, attempting to join their forces and later betray them, he fails and is issued a guard escort. Mordred is approached by the Marked Cedric, Mordred having nothing more he can do and nothing else to lose he joins Cedric, becoming marked. Mordred causes mayhem as a marked, taunting and pillaging supply lines and severely injuring his cousin. Mordred is tied down by William, being assigned Osric as he legal guardian. Mordred is then freed from his Local Parentis and continues his travels alone for a time away from the city, returning after a few years.
Change this to something less forceful. Something along the lines of "His rough demeanor can be a hampering factor in relation building, but the fact remains Alistair has a lot to teach and offer when someone gives him the chance." I get the point and aesthetic you wish to portray, but flat-out saying "he makes people nervous" or "people think he's wise" is difficult to allow because those are completely people's opinion of him, and they will never be universal truths about the character. What about his confidence in himself? How about friends? Worth a sentence or two to expand on them. Where does Alistair fit in his opinion of the laws around him? Make changes in purple and @ me when done.
