Kathar Heritage
  • Mechanic I: Kathar power cannot be denied to them. If anyone uses an Ability/Mechanic that would force them to use Radiant instead of Sinistral Magic, they still use Sinistral anyway.
  • Mechanic II: Kathar can change the alignment of any Spirit to that of Void, so long as the possess/own/control the Spirit. Void Spirits are always symbiotic for them also.
  • Mechanic III: Kathar are not affected by the mental characteristics or changes of any Affliction or Affinity and are always in control of their own mind from them.
  • Mechanic IV: Kathar are able to look at a person and intuit their Corruption Desire, with OOC Consent (see below). Then, the Kathar can act towards this goal.
  • Mechanic V: Kathar can use subtle vice-heightening curses on those within Emote Range, heightening their Pride, Fury, Avarice, Corruption, Rejection, or Hedonism.

Corruption Arkenborn
  • Mechanic I: Corruption Arkenborn gain the Disguise Pack for free. Additionally they can summon/unsummon/change any clothing they wear in the blink of an eye.
  • Mechanic II: If investigated by any Knight, Corruption Arkenborn can wipe the memories of a Knight involving them specifically so that any investigation is sure to be stalled forever against them. (Hidden)
  • Mechanic III: If imprisoned, locked up, or chained down, Corruption Arkenborn can simply slip out of these restraints and walk through locked doors. They can still be attacked and hurt if careless though!

Dymolov Vampire
  • Dymolov Mechanic I: Dymolov Vampires gain fire-based Void Magic with open aesthetics, and have great degrees of control over fire, being able to create and douse it, steer it through air, be immune to it, etc.
  • Dymolov Mechanic II: Dymolov Vampires if they are the ones taking ownership of Divinium during a Divinium Raid, gain 2 Divinium instead. Only one is transferrable, the copy Divinium can only be used by the Dymolov.
  • Dymolov Mechanic III: Dymolov Vampires can temporarily magically infest willing non-Vampires and Vampires alike, hiding in their bodies and being undetectable and unable to use Abilities but still perceiving all of their senses. (Hidden)

Darkstar Argentum
Darkstar Mechanic:
Darkstar Knights must be Vampires, and can choose one Mechanic granted by either the Huntess or Glacial to Mortisphages for themselves, which become Void Aligned/Vampiric.
  • Mechanic I: Shard Royal Mortisphages have cursed weapons with Shades in them. Any weapon they use for a period of time starts mutating with Ordial essence. Should anyone but them wield it, they become Shard Royal Mortisphages also. Additionally, they can summon and un-summon these weapons at will. Finally, they gain +2 Attack Stat (Breaking cap to 11) while attacking other Characters wielding Ranged Weapons.

Backstory/Plothooks:
  • Raised in Crookback in poverty and told stories of the greatness of the Dread Empire. Melavarr feels a kinship to those of both.
  • Melavarr finds the Occult fascinating and will give aid to them if he sees a benefit to it.
  • Melavarr is a Son of Corruption and sometimes seeks his half-siblings out to learn more about them and what schemes they've been up to.
  • Melavarr was willingly infected by a Dymolov vampire in Gloomrot and did everything in his power to slowly make that Vampire's position of power crumble until he defeated the friendless Vampire in combat and claimed Greater Vampire from them. He now seeks Vampiric schemes.
  • Later on, Melavarr would find a Knight of the Argentum and would be indoctrinated by fellow Darkstar Knights. Seeing the glory and potential he joined.
