Who has noticed that, for the past month or so, there has been several players who have gone toxic (who will not be named for the sake of decency)? There has been several rants targeted at staff, and even other players who are accused of being staff suck-ups. Why, exactly, do these players go toxic and not use options open to them to solve server issues? Most of these players seem to want to make their complaints public, and in tbe process make all parties involved, for both sides, look bad. It isn't necessarily a bad thing to state an issue with the server, but if it's going to be done, at least make it a fair, nontoxic discussion to where both groups can come to a solution.
Most of these groups have had several complaints in common, like the staff not caring about the players and the server. If this were the case, why have the server at all? Why bother with putting in so many hours to make new plugins, enhance roleplay, and even create everything that makes this server the way it is? Maybe these players believed that with the staff being so close, it appears that they don't pay much attention to the regular players. To be honest, maybe these staff aren't intentionally ignoring players, but are just really caught up in what they're currently doing.
Another issue addressed was the players accused of being suckups, especially roleplayers. Even if there are players who actually have been such a way, most of the players accused of this actually worked, not sucked, their way up. I know some of these people, and I know that they have worked through this, using determination to get there.
The last issue, and perhaps the biggest, was corruption within the staff. In reality, there has been a history of corruption. But as far as I know, those staff were dealt with because players addressed the issue fairly. Not all staff are bad, and they don't want to hurt the players or the server. Another part of this was the claim that staff ban people for the simplest reasons. While this can be exaggerated, even I noticed that punishments tend to be harsh. So improvement can be done for both players and staff. If you wish to point out corruption, or handle an issue, don't go toxic about it, just have a fair, just discussion about it.
Trust me, it will help make the server better, and not hurt as many people.
