The Massive Mobs plug-in should make it to where the mobs that spawn off of your player should be more difficult to fight based on your mcmmo level. Like the higher your mcmmo is the better their armor is and their weapon dose more damage. A player with +10K power level could have mobs using god armor/weapons (sharpness 5 weapons, protection 4 armor) spawning on them and of course they could turn off the mobs dropping the armor and weapons because that would be way to over powered. If you feel to make it even more challenging mobs could have their own mcmmo level. Of course with the god armored mobs a majority of them would be like the farmers and axe men, swordsmen, etc. and in a group of around 10-20 mobs only 2 would have the armor and weapons.

The only issue, is Massivemobs are made by Cayorion, while MCMMO isn't. Unless Cayorion could convince the makers of MCMMO to make a special version for massive, it'd be difficult to implement, maybe impossible. But I like the idea.

Just to play devil's advocate, I have a power level near 10,000. My highest combat skill is just over 300 (taming), and was below 250 a month ago. Why would I want stronger mobs just because I can fish, mine, farm, etc., better than most people? The truth is that most of the new mobs are being designed to challenge the experienced players, so maybe what you are asking for is less powerful mobs for people with lower stats. The downside of this is that the rewards would also have to be reduced, making it much harder for newer players, especially if there is someone with high stats in the area.

Just so you know, there are also technical problems with this idea, since mcMMO is programmed by an outside team of developers, they could produce changes that could break our implementation. This would make the plugin almost impossible to maintain.

One problem; would if a god pvper is showing a new recruit around, and they have to go through the wilderness for part of the tour? The noob would get assaulted by all these super powerful mobs, because the experienced player is with them. Could also go along with a city that doesn't have walls; One soldier online in his home, and the rest suffer due to OP mobs spawning in the area around the town.

My only issue with MassiveMobs is the amount if you have 4 people in one area... Its kind of a lot of mobs

MCMMO will eventually be replaced with a new system, that this could potentially work with.

I don't particularly like this idea though. Just have spots where bosses/more powerful mobs spawn, and nowhere else. That way experienced players could go to these places and fight them.

I think there need to be dungeons, where there are dungeon Gaurd mobs that are tough followed by a boss, so experience players and pvp factions can go and do raids on them to obtain rare loot. That'd be cool

But would PVP be turned off in these areas? Otherwise I know a few people who would just wait there for any non-prem to come along in half-decent armour, and kill them. No one would ever actually get to fight the mobs.
Other than that, I like the idea of area-based mobs.

From what i was thinking that there would be too many mobs to just wait to kill non prems, especially in a dungeon where the mobs are really strong. But if this is done I see your point whether it being pvp or not is up to the staff.

Yes, you technically could...but if anyone is coming to kill a high level boss, they should be able to give a pvper a hard time.

hmm... I like where this train of thought is going Jkk Cruall and Pyro but allow me to redirect the tracks real quick. what about, instead of or alongside dungeons, there are areas with large amounts of mobs, say in the deep desert, there is a small tower. The tower isn't special in any way, but dozens of blazes spawn there. Or in the middle of a deep dark forest an inhuman number of spiders spawn but next to nothing but spiders. That would be interesting I think.

So large numbers of only a single mob, @neogreggory` ? Sounds like a good idea. It would give quite a themed feel, and it would make for interesting faction wars for rare mob spawns. (A good or a bad thing, I know not, but interesting for sure)
