- An Evolist / Abyss worshipper and/or Dulon Yanar is able to rationalise that spreading Dulofal actually helps the environment, because it 'evolves' nature and makes it better at defending itself. It is hard to make that argument if the forest becomes a barren wasteland of dead, white chalk (it's also just less interesting too imo)
Dulofal is a powdery mildew disease that was developed by the Abyss Gods at the behest of the Kathar, that has been used to corrupt parts of the Selvariuan Walds and also in particular Yanar.
Okay, so Dulofal is established in lore as being Abyss aligned.
Okay, so if an entire forest / ecosystem becomes 'corrupted' by Dulofal, it just dies. Like, it'll be a barren wasteland of white dust and everything in that ecosystem will have to flee or die. This - to me - reads as Hollow aligned.
With context out of the way, my suggestion is this: I think Dulofal should remain as purely Abyss aligned, but only if it 'warps' the environment, rather than killing it. Picture, instead of white-chalk and dried-out dead plants:
The air is thick with spores, shimmering in eerie, hypnotic colours that shift from violet to deep crimson. Breathing it in brings vivid hallucinations, visions of a reality where the forest sings of Pride, Fury, Avarice, Corruption, Rejection, and Hedonism (Corruption Desire). Bioluminescent fungi grows from nigh everything in sight, including the monstrous fauna.
The roots of trees are slithering beneath the soil to strangle and ensnare intruders. Bark pulses with veins of ink-black sap, occasionally splitting open to reveal jagged teeth or abyssal eyes that watch trespassers with insatiable hunger.
This reads as Abyss to me, and - personally - I would love to play a character who seeks to spread Dulofal. I think it would be a lot more interesting if Dulofal brought the 'Wyldwarp' aesthetic to wherever it took hold.

- The Abyss is a realm of darkness, hedonism, and unrestrained freedom, where shadows and eternal red twilight seduce and overwhelm, hosting powerful Demons that seek to impose both liberation and corruption. It is opposed to the Eidolon and allied with the Vortex.
