He views new places as full of things to discover, and therefore he is beyond curious about new things. His behavior is often based on what exactly it is he wants to do, rather than any limiting factors or other callings. Choose your Character's Religion Faith of Estel (4/10) - Reunited with his family for a time with the Cielothar, his parents took to teaching him the basics of the Altalar pantheon. He took strongly to this pantheon, as it was an answer for the unanswered questions about the world. His faith has been shaken by witnessing a Void ritual completed. Void Worship (4/10) - Maedhros has witnessed the power of the Void enacted first hand, and is growing to believe more and more in it's power. Life Story (Required) (0-15) Maedhros is born to two Fin'ullen mercenary Altalar parents. Maedhros is raised on the road for the first few years of his life, learning how to speak Middle-Altalar, walking and running. He sparred with his parents at times. Their band had fallen on rough times by the time he was fifteen however, and he was dropped off in Daenshore, alone. He never sees them again. (15-30) He wanders the streets for a few years, learning to pickpockets and whatnot, before being taken in by a gang. It was here that Maedhros found the life style he enjoyed most, fighting, stealing, and drinking. He learns to run schemes that involve posing as a more refined member of society. After a while, he starts to wonder where his parents are, and goes to try and find them. (30-50) For a time, he travels Daendroc in search of his parents. He finds that they have settled down in a Cielothar village. He deepens his bond with both his mother and his father, learning about the Altalar way of life, which he takes to for a time. He acquires a pottery wheel, and takes a liking to the creation of pots, and the way the spinning clay feels on his hands. Unfortunately, he is orphaned when a Wolond raid sees both parents dead. (50-56) Maedhros narrowly escapes and decides to take this opportunity to travel around the world for a few years as a mercenary. He begins to appreciate material things more and more, and eventually becomes second in command of a small group of mercenaries. During this time, Maedhros takes up running as a hobby to try to avoid thinking too much about his parents' deaths. This group ends up splitting, and Maedhros uses the money he has left to come to the Crown Isle. Maedhros comes to Regalia and ends up falling in with the usual Nelfin crowd, making friends with a strange lich named Alai, who infects him with the Zikiel Bloodline. He sees a void ritual completed, shaking his faith in Estel.
