Personality Type: ISTJ-A, the Logistician: Lythian is a pretty organized person, he often thinks ahead and tries to always have a backup plan. He is more on the introverted side, though that doesn't mean he's incompetent regarding social interactions, quite the contrary. He just doesn't like to talk to strangers, but when he needs to, he tries to make the best out of it. Religion: Faith of Estel (1/10): Lythian was never really strongly influenced by anybody who's strongly religious, as the majority of his family only loosely connected believing in the Faith of Estel. He never really connected the religion with his own ideals, or let it influence him. Life Story Childhood (Age 0-12) Lythian was born in the city of Üntannall-Pröpole on April 7th, 265 A.C., along with his twin sister, who was about 15 minutes older than him. The two of them got born into a family of smugglers and mercenaries, a business which Lythian already was interested in from a young age. He always looked up to his father and older brother, while his sister had a stronger connection to their mother. The twins were very connected to each other, often playing together and running around in the city, though that didn’t stop them from getting into fights regularly. Teenage Years (Age 13-19) While his sister got taught cooking and knitting, Lythian wanted to get involved in the family business as soon as possible. On his 13th birthday, his brother gifted him his first dagger, from which point on he practised with him as much as he could, sometimes staying up the entire nights just to train. His father was rather sceptic about him becoming a criminal, always saying he should rather study and become a scholar, though Lythian always rejected that option. When he was 15, his father finally let him accompany him on one of his travels to deliver some weapons to a group of criminals. Things went south when the criminals refused to pay and attacked his fathers crew. Lythians training did seem to pay out though, as he successfully defended his father, killing one of the criminals. His father, recognizing that Lythian was stronger and more capable than he initially thought, agreed to fully take him under his wings and made him a full member of his crew. Early Adulthood (Age 20-35) With the years passing, Lythian became more and more skilled, eventually being on par with his brother. The two of them spent much time together, spending much time drinking together and enjoying themselves. He still had a strong bond to his sister, who had meanwhile become a waitress in a local bar. His father was quite strict to him, though he always cared for him and helped him in difficult situations. When Lythian was 23 years old, he entrusted him and his brother with their own crew. Throughout the next years the two mainly got tasked to deliver illegal goods into territories outside of Daen, usually by boat. Sailing didn’t particularly pique Lythians interest, he just left that part to his brother, while he spent most of his travels studying sorcery, thinking it would come in handy to know one or the other spell. Due to his and his brother’s “clients” being often Kathar, he decided it would be good for at least one of them to know some Kathar Elven. Though he spent much time studying, he still trained with his brother from time to time. With one of his father’s best mercenaries having died, Lythian, who was now 31 years old, needed to fill out a spot in his father’s crew again for some time, taking part in assassinations and collecting bountys. Recent Years (Age 36-43) Lythian had returned to travelling with his brother and continued his studying. While on one of their travels, a message reached them. Their father was killed by a group of assassins, who were hired by one of his former accomplices for an unknown reason. The brothers immediately traveled back to Üntannall-Pröpole, where they started hunting the assassins down, in hope of getting informations about the person behind the assassination, though they weren't successful, as the assassins couldn't give any hint to his location. Having lost their father, both stayed home for about two years, spending time with their sister and mother. They only occasionally went on travels to get some money if they needed any. One morning, Lythian had just woken up, his sister knocked on the door of his room, saying a few men were at the door for him. A noble greeted him at the door, introducing himself. He presented Lythian an offer: Lythian needed to deliver a small package to a client in the city of Regalia, in exchange the noble would give him the location of his fathers murderer. Lythian agreed and got ready to travel to Regalia. He asked his brother to stay home and take care of their sister and mother. While on his way to the capital, he met a traveler by the name of Lynmar. The two got along rather well, though he mistrusted Lynmar, thinking he would hide something from him. One night, Lythian woke up to find that the two of them got robbed. He left Lynmar the same night, hoping to find the robbers somewhere near. Lythian followed hints to where they were staying, which eventually lead him to the city of Regalia.
