Lyndis is a very joyful person. If she's happy, she let's everyone notice it. She usually openly talks about what excites her and what makes her happy. When experiencing fear, Lyndis usually rather quickly resorts to either fight or flight, depending on how she thinks her chances are and whether or not other people are in danger. When there is no immediate danger, Lyndis would usually try to distract herself by interacting with her family and training. How would your character respond to experiencing Stress? It is fairly obvious when Lyndis is stressed, but she'd usually try to play it off, especially infront of her friends and family. That is, because she doesn't want people to think that she can't handle something. How does your character view Law and Authorities? Lyndis sees Law and Authorities as something necessary to keep some kind of order. However, that doesn't mean that she doesn't sometimes criticise the Gouvernments decisions. How does your character feel about Races other than their own? Lyndis is more or less openminded when it comes to Races, although due to their origin, she tends to mistrust Kathar. How does your character feel about Religion for themselves, and other faiths? Lyndis got raised with the Faith of Estel, and she believes in that religion rather strongly. She has no strong opinions about other religions, as long as the morals teached by them roughly align with what she thinks is right. How does your character feel about the Arcane and Magical in the world? Lyndis is extremely intrigued by everything Magical, especially Vampires and Werebeasts, hence her efforts to study them. How does your character feel towards their family? Lyndis has a rather good relationship towards her family, notably her siblings. She gets along with them pretty well and cares about them. She especially wants to protect her sisters from any and all harm. What is your character the most proud of about themselves? Lyndis is extremely confident in her abilities, most importantly her skill using Fencing Blades and Rapiers. She's also rather proud of her knowledge about abberants. What motivates your character to move forward and better their life? Lyndis has an incredible thirst for knowledge. Her passion lies in studying abberants. She always strives to obtain knowledge about topics that spark her interest. What is your character's biggest insecurity? Even though Lyndis is a confident person, what troubles her most is her own failure. She wants others to be able to rely on her and thinks that failure would make her not worthy of being relied on. What is your character's biggest fear? What Lyndis fears most is someone from her family getting hurt. At the end of the day, her family is what she cares about the most, even more than her studies. Life Story Childhood (Age 0-12) On July 13. 251 A.C. a child is born to a lone Altalar woman on the Sundial Isles. She decides to name the child after her mother and grandmother, thus the girl was named Lyndis Alea Davaris. In her younger years, it was already clear that Lyndis was a rather curious and smart girl, asking for the meaning behind everything, often to the point of annoying her mother. Being a healer herself, Lyndis' mother started teach her the basics of Alchemy, a subject that Lyndis took great interest in. Lyndis' father, although absent, regularly sent her mother money to ensure Lyndis' well-being. With the years passing, Lyndis' mother got sick to a point of being terminally ill. Knowing that she couldn't properly care for her daughter anymore, she decided to send Lyndis to live with her father's family. Teenage Years (Age 13-22) Lyndis arrived at the Naegwyn's estate in late summer of 264 A.C. She was still incredibly sad that she needed to leave her mother behind, and therefore was rather rejecting towards her new family. However, after realizing that being sad about the past doesn't get her any further in life, she decided that she would need to move on, which still was rather hard for her. From time to time, she became more open to her family, developing a strong bond with her other siblings. She became especially protective towards her younger sister, K'yana. However when she became 16 years old, she got sent to the Archipelago, where her father demanded her to learn Sorcery, in order to improve her future chances and opportunities. While she didn't hate the time she spent on the Crown Isle, she found it to be rather boring, especially without anyone around to keep her good company. Adulthood (Age 23-40) Lyndis had returned to the Naegwyn's estate after largely finishing her Sorcery. While she was happy to spend time with her family again, she also wanted to follow her own passion. She soon decided to start travelling Daen in order to learn about Alchemy, a decision her siblings strongly supported. The many different people and cultures she encountered shaped her to be a rather open young woman. While travelling Daen, she encountered multiple scholars and mages, from which she learned the secrets of Alchemy and how to improve her Sorcery. Slowly, through the influence of the people she met and stories she heard, Lyndis' attention shifted towards studying more Magical phenomenons, like Werebeasts and Vampires. Recent Years (Age 41-57) While her Sorcery and knowledge about Alchemy improved, her studies about Werebeasts and Vampires could not continue due to her having not enough information about the subject. An at that time good friend of her advised her to travel to the City of Regalia, due to the amount of abberants and many scholars residing there. Lyndis followed that suggestion, quickly making her way to the Capital. Hearing word of her sister K'yana living there, she decided to move in with her. However, multiple incidents made it clear for her that the City was a rather dangerous place, especially for someone researching abberants. Fortunately, her father offered her to enroll into the Offizielle Akademie für Griffer Bildung in order get education in Griffer skills. For Lyndis, this was a welcome opportunity. Her time at the academy was rather enjoyable, although her lack in physical training made it hard for her in the beginning. She chose to train in Duelist Path, meaning she spent most of her time practising the use of the Griff Blade. She graduated from the academy and returned to the City of Regalia in early 308 A.C. to continue her studies.
@LeonIsLame Please tag me once you've made these changes. -Please include the points spent on Sorcery in the proficiency spread. You may still keep the names in Special Abilities. -You will have to adjust the timeline of Lyndis joining the Griffer school. While the school would have been open around the time she was 16, it would be unlikely that they accepted a non-ailor student until very recent history (past 7-10 years). -Nightsilver may only be acquired in RP. Please either remove mention of this or add some caveat that she lost the blade.
