hi.
so. after lining up a lot of my pieces for this year for that whole "year summary of art" thing, i realized that i.. actually was pretty content with the last three months of art? mostly because i stepped out of my comfort zone a little when it came to what i was doing, either by drawing more people, or just.. more dynamic poses + backgrounds. so. i kind of set a goal for myself of "ok. december? screw it. we're doing a whole scene. im gonna draw Nature. that's the goal."
so, i uh
i did that.
im so tired. am i content with it? hard to say! i think the actual structure of the scene could've been done better and i ended up with a lot of the focus more towards just.. the front, w/ a lot of empty awkward space in the back, but.
i also spent literal hours doing plants by hand. and also then a lot of time redoing emil's face.
.. like, a lot of time. i was Not happy w/ how it was turning out. it looked. way worse beforehand. point is, i finished it.
so.

(also. unironically worked on this for a week. not sure what to do now.)
anyways! there's definitely a lot of flaws and errors [im begging you do Not look too close.] but i mostly wanted to get it done, annnd. it's done! so. thank god. holy shit

i.. im gonna be honest. like the title suggests. this started out as a joke. because i sent laila the chug jug w/ you miku and len cover like "haha, when's this gonna be emil and aesling? " And Then I Took That Personally.

anywho this is by far the most realistic thing ive done somehow. but im finally satisfied w/ a penn piece. after all of this time. because my art style is so fucking inconsistent and i also realized looking through all of my penn pieces that, "dear god. none of these look like they're done by the same person. What."
anywho, point is. im finally content. penn hot. Yeah.
fun fact: the mirror also happened on accident because i initially was going for a piece similar to the one i did w/ emil prior, with intricate framing and shit, and in voice call i was streaming and showing like "yeah, so, the plan is to do some kind of framing, like uuuh.." and then i randomly threw some uneven lines down intending to erase it and that kind of turned into the whole mirror frame concept and i had a Moment. but yeah

no recent stuff (wahoo art slump) but here's some scribbles and whatnot since i posted last
an emil for an outfit prompt. he just kind of ended up looking like a dad
here's an emil that i drew with my mouse.
emil is apparently my comfort character for art.
they're just really easy to draw.
