- Born by two wealthy aristocrats, Lucius was the second son to House Kaplanidis. His older brother Alexios, whom was catered more was brought up in statesmenship whilst Lucius was destined for a more martial path despite the family's lack of martial experience.
- Thus, Lucius was brought up in more military studies and discipline compared to Alexios. While this created a divide between the brothers, he'd learn to cherish what was destined for him and remain vigilant in his studies in hopes to forge his own destiny. By his 14th year, Lucius was sent to the Viridian Order by his father - in hopes to earn family prestige with a knighted male of the House.
- Through his teenage years Lucius would be a page, then a squire by his 17th year under a knight by the name of Anselm. Together, the two would support tenpenny regiments and deal with foreign conflicts and affairs.
- By his 21st year Lucius was officially knighted and dubbed a knight of the Viridian Order. In his first three years of knighthood he'd primarily focus on teaching pages both swordsmenship and chivalric conduct. Though, was sent off to deal with more urgent manners in the Empire by the beginning of his 24th year. He'd return from such and travel for Regalia for a newer assignment in his 25th year.
