A playful smile, relaxing back, or a laugh usually she gives these reactions to people she meets. Those closer to her she might get a bit more physical hugs and such. How would your character respond to experiencing Fear? Fear stemming from trauma: Lucinda though with a fun loving exterior is still effected by her past on a traumatic level. Her responses to it ranges from retreat to out right violence often varying between the two in her nightmares. Fear for those close to her: If Lucinda believes someone she cares for is in danger she'll attach herself to them. Not leaving their side until she knows they are safe and try to keep them somewhere safe even if its a paranoid response. How would your character respond to experiencing Stress? A slight twitch usually she tries to relax or let off steam when feeling stress usually in what ever hedonistic way seems right. How does your character view Law and Authorities? The law is alright, she'll 'follow it' or at least appear to. She plans to join the militia to make use of her fighting and doesn't entirely find most kinds of crime entertaining. So she sees the authorities as foolish and beneath her but without any reason to prompt it she won't oppose them. How does your character feel about Races other than their own? Excepts all races, even the tribe which enslaved her though she is more wary of them then others. How does your character feel about Religion for themselves, and other faiths? Sees the Exist through a more corrupted lens now viewing her old gods as weaker for having promoted enslavement without kindness. She sees the void as a more powerful entity which may better serve her goals but she hasn't abandoned the stories and traditions (cause she finds them fun and a good cover) entirely. She doesn't really discriminate with religion if its your belief its yours. How does your character feel about the Arcane and Magical in the world? Its entertaining and fun, so she finds it interesting and might seek to bring in a sorcerer or two into a closer relationship. How does your character feel towards their family? Her family is gone they let her get enslaved, even accidentally, she hasn't known anything but pain and beatings from former masters. So in contrast, she holds tight to the family she has now especially her spouses and her their children. She loves them all even if she does enjoy messing with them. She would die, kill, and be cured for those she deems hers. What is your character the most proud of about themselves? Her ability to fight and her looks, her gladiatorial days are what she considers her golden age. So she always is quite ready for a fight and takes pride in winning. She also takes great pleasure in getting people's hopes up or getting them attracted to her though she is careful to not get anyone to attached. What motivates your character to move forward and better their life? Love, hedonism, freedom she lives every day as if it were her last. She is motivated to keep the loves she has and expand should all be in agreement, love is best shared is a philosophy she takes to heart. What is your character's biggest insecurity? Her Slave days and her scars, though she likes to pretend she doesn't mind the scars, and keeps them visible for that false normalcy. She is incredibly insecure that she ever was a slave, let herself get hurt, and fears that one day she'll find out those close to her pity or hate her for her past. What is your character's biggest fear? Losing her freedom: She is incredibly afraid of being restrained by force and being captured. She will fight tooth and nail if someone tries to enslave, bind, or arrest her. If unsuccessful and her fighting proving useless there is a very big possibility for her to simply break. Losing herself to memories of her trauma. Character's Religion8/10 Estellian Pantheon- Calvannis (Void corrupted): Lucinda was raised in a estellian family but once enslaved began to gravitated to Calvannis. Worshipping him in hopes he might provide the power to cast down her violent masters. She found that strength but always saw Calvannis’ order for slaves to return to captivity a disgrace. Leading her to never entirely embrace him seeing his order as a fatal weakness. As of her turning: Her dislike of Calvannis’ weakness lead her to taking up a newer form of worship. Fueling her own crusades and desires for freedom, along with her unbiased views, she now strives to see slaves of any kind emancipated and turned to sanguine. So they may have power like Calvannis did and revenge themselves upon their masters. Life Story0-5 Was raised among the Solstithar and began learning dancing and acrobatics early on. She was raised peacefully with her family learning about the Estellian pantheon from her previously Altalar parents. Until the day the Shenath raided their island and took her as a slave. From which she was transported to the dread empire. 10-15 The Shenath taught her Kathar Altalar with a firm, often violent hand always frustrated any time she spoke in Modern Altalar feeling it some form of rebellion. Displeasure brought beatings upon beatings, but whilst bruises healed the whip marks would scar her back to this day. It was in this period she was taught tattooing and she actually come to enjoy the practice even today. She began to also learn how to dance her slavers deciding to test her worth in the dance of Llov giving her the ultimatum "impress the crowd after the sacrifice or become the next dance's victim". With that in mind she practiced hard and ended up impressing not only her slavers but a Zolathar priest. Who would soon become her new master. 20-25 It was under him her rebellion took root as her new master soon tried to force her to convert to his ways. A authoritarian in style, his overbearing nature lead to a dark sort of mental stress on the young Kathar. Him implanting the concept of her being worthless she internalized, in part, this trait a sense of self doubt she would later bury deep inside herself. The attempt to push her away from the Estellian pantheon made her all the more determined to follow. So she choose Calvannis and began to train until one day she took her chance knocking her captor out. She severed her chains with his war axe and ran. She would live in the forest for a time, practicing the bow day after day as she dodged or slew those sent to find her. She grew skilled and silent, until the day she managed to return to her home island. Her family was dead and gone but she took up new work as a gladiator. 30-35 She lived like a queen for a time, becoming a succesful gladiator with her skills and ferocity. Taking pride in the scars of her years within the arena. She began to delve deep into faith becoming a ritualist and arkenist as she discovered more and more of the supposed Planar Gods. She enjoyed her life but the haunting of her days in the dread empire were to strong. She didn't feel safe anymore... then at a party she heard a bard play the piano and fell in love with the instrument. 35-40 She charted a course for Montania and spent her days learning to master her beloved instrument until by chance. She meet Augustino and Elyza falling in love with the two and coming with them to regalia.
