Personality and Abilities The Question List ⋼ How would your character express Happiness and Contentedness? ⋼ When Lu-Raeng expresses happiness, it is more than often situational. It all depends on what causes the happiness. If it’s nothing more than lending a hand to help someone do a chore, he’ll show mild signs of contentedness. On the other hand, if he managed to master a new skill alongside his student, he'll be jumping out of his seat. Overall, he will show happiness carelessly.⋼ How would your character respond to experiencing Fear? ⋼ When faced with fear, Lu-Raeng will enter a fight-or-flight instinct. If it’s something or someone he’s facing causing the fear, he knows that he can most likely defend himself long enough to analyze if he can do anything about the situation. Innate fears and phobias are simply avoided as there’s nothing he can do about it other than therapy. However, if completely necessary, Lu-Raeng will take a leap of faith and face his fear if it will improve his situation drastically.⋼ How would your character respond to experiencing Stress? ⋼ Lu-Raeng’s best way of dealing with stress is isolating himself and figuring out a way to alleviate his mood. He understands that stress is inevitable, but he doesn’t like the idea of having to feel stressed when he doesn’t need to. Lu-Raeng has taken a liking towards common practices throughout Dexai such as meditating, or even more leisurely activities such as doing activities within nature.⋼ How does your character view Law and Authorities? ⋼ The law anywhere never suits Lu-Raeng’s own moral code to a t. While he understands that they are enforced for everyone’s wellbeing, he is not against breaking the law if it is stopping him from fulfilling his ambitions. He respects the authority as they put their lives on the line as a living, and understands the responsibilities that come with the position. He is by no means presumptuous and knows when he is committing a felony.⋼ How does your character feel about Races other than their own? ⋼ Lu-Raeng has faced xenophobic ideas due to the Sihai remaining isolated from the rest of the world for centuries. He treats other races with scrutiny, but not to the point where he won’t have any relationships with non-Sihai.⋼ How does your character feel about Religion for themselves, and other faiths? ⋼ Like the majority of Sihai people, Lu-Raeng devoutly praises the Loong Dragons. He acknowledges their presence within the Four Kingdoms, and the impact they had on the course of history for his people. When he has lost faith in everything, he knows he can always rely on the Loong Dragons to strengthen his will. He ignores other faiths, and holds no real opinion of them excluding the Kathar which he finds their Void worship to be vile.⋼ How does your character feel about the Arcane and Magical in the world? ⋼ Magic has always been an everlasting topic in recent years in Dexai. Ever since the Naether Aetherium, the South Well has threatened the lives of the inhabitants of the Four Kingdoms. The fact that his family has always leaned towards the War Dynasty has paved his way as a defender of his people against the Dark Dynasty. Upon finding out he had control of his own arcane abilities, he had been initially wary of it. However, with the guidance of a Sihai priest, he had realized that should magic be in good hands, there is no issue and that it can actually benefit others.⋼ How does your character feel towards their family? ⋼ Lu-Raeng has always had a strong relationship with his family. It has always been family before yourself during his stay in Dexai, and that is how he has always behaved until recent years. He would do anything to protect them, but has grown a sense of individuality over the past few years.⋼ What is your character the most proud of about themselves? ⋼ Lu-Raeng finds pride in the skillset he’s found. His use as a warrior is what dictates his role in life, so he cherishes his position as a fighter. While it isn’t everything that makes him, it pleases him to know he can be of use in most situations.⋼ What motivates your character to move forward and better their life? ⋼ Lu-Raeng is motivated by the simple fact that he can continue to improve himself, and more goals to achieve. He has a strong image of himself, and only wants to see a better version of himself everyday. Now that he has picked up a student along with the group of swordsmen he is aspiring to form, he has a goal to look towards fulfilling.⋼ What is your character's biggest insecurity? ⋼ Performance has always been an insecurity while he trained. Despite knowing how he fared in duels and real fights Lu-Raeng has an insecurity of underperforming. While it isn’t an insecurity that constantly hinders him, he’ll now and then find himself insecure about how others judge his skills.⋼ What is your character's biggest fear? ⋼ Lu-Raeng’s biggest fear is the loss of friends and family. Since childhood, he has been taught that family is everything, and he has carried that on to people he befriends. Endless battles against the Dark Dynasty has resulted in the loss of those he has bonded with within the armies, so it only increased his sorrow. Despite his typical laid-back mannerisms, should he deem there to be a real threat to anyone close to him, he will make measures to keep his companions out of harm's way; however, he doesn't always attempt to make his protectiveness appear obvious. Losing anyone close to him can and will emotionally affect him. Relationships ⋼ Kai’deng Fueng-i’e: Father. ⋼ Fe’ai Fueng-i’e: Mother. ⋼ Fe'qi: Mentor. ⋼ Essa Sohna: Student. Life Story _____On January 12th, 272 AC, Lu-Raeng Fueng-i’e was born in the Ra'ie'm'ie'en Kingdom within Dexai. Fortunately for Lu-Raeng his family had some fortune, so he faced little trouble in his youth. While he was born in the Common Dynasty form, his father and mother were both of the Zuge Dynasty. Naturally, his parents pushed him towards the path of orthodox War Dynasty Sihai. In his youth his parents Kai’deng and Fe’ai Fueng-i’e brought him to numerous Lu-ra-kus. The Lu-ra-kus, or soap operas introduced the ideas of war and battle to Lu-Raeng. The decision to choose one of the five dynasties came when he was five years old. With what he had gathered over the years, Lu-Raeng chose to participate in the First Quarter Lunar Phase ritual on August 7th, 277 AC. Both his body and mindset were altered to fit the characteristics of a Zuge Sihai. His father took the role as his mentor and commenced Lu-Raeng’s induction with eastern swordsmanship. _____Lu-Raeng’s growth into adolescence was fairly barren in terms of anything happening. He and Kai’deng continued to train inside their family’s home and the local dojo. Now and then, Lu-Raeng participated in outdoor activities whenever he managed to get free time. For leisure, he enjoyed to fish, and the occasional game of Tsai’en’ka. As Lu-Raeng got older, his father pushed him to train harder and became more strict overall. While Lu-Raeng naturally felt rebellious due to a lack of free time compared to the time he had in his youth, he didn’t mind refining his swordsmanship; after all, he wasn’t close to finishing his training. Kai’deng began to discipline Lu-Raeng in the mentality and morality of a true warrior. Lu-Raeng advanced to using a dulled eastern blade. At this point, he had gotten proficient enough to join the real battle against the Dark Dynasty. Those from the Dark Dynasty looked atrocious, but Lu-Raeng had been luckily taught about the Dark Sihai. Nearing the end of their fight, a wave of the mutated Sihai had began to corner Lu-Raeng and the contingent he was with. _____While the battle was virtually over, there were still Dark Sihai remaining, and it was evident they still outnumbered the members of Lu-Raeng’s group. They had their last stand, yet it wasn't enough. Lu-Raeng's comrades fell before him, and the last few had to fight with vigor they never had. The remaining men returned to a rendezvous point, and returned back across the Great Wall with the other squads. After spending time exposed to the horrors of the South Well, Lu-Raeng decided it best to spend time within a harmony garden closest to his home. He frequented the harmony garden for the next few weeks, and it is where he met a Sihai priest by the name of Fe'qi. Seeking consolation, Fe'qi provided spirital counseling to Lu-Raeng. It was here that Lu-Raeng harnessed an ability that had previously remained dormant throughout his entire life. _____Under Fe'qi's guidance, he honed his talent of swordsmanship while integrating this newfound ability. Over the course of several months, Lu-Raeng fine-tuned his own personalized branch of the combat method he had originally learned. After finding the right time and the confidence to take up arms once more, Lu-Raeng returned to the Sihai army. After spending years consistently under the Sihai army, he decided to take a pardoned leave and found refuge in working at the western seaports. Here, he learned more about the world outside of his own, and learned to speak Common as well. He was employed as hired muscle for the merchants present until he eventually decided to go onto a merchant ship and travel to the west. On June 22nd, 307 AC, the merchant ship docked in the Regalian harbor, and Lu-Raeng took his first step on land outside of Dexai. _____Upon arriving in Regalia, he found a mercenary company called the “Crimson Lions” that had been in the works. It was led by Julius Peirgarten, and so Lu-Raeng naturally bonded with the man as his second-in-command. After spending several weeks in Regalia, he decided to travel elsewhere. Over the next few months, he had traveled from land-to-land and eventually met various skilled swordsmen who he befriended. All these swordsmen including Lu-Raeng joined forces, and on February 17, 308 AC, Lu-Raeng returned to the capital city of the Regalian Empire.

@HydraLana I redid Lu-Raeng's Skill Information and adjusted his age accordingly. Because of a good amount of changes being made, I'd like to ask for a re-review.
My sole point of review is to ask that you formally put the type of Sorcery for those spells you're using into the Proficiency Points list so I can formally know what Sorceries you're using, and how many points you are investing. Tag me once this has been done @Jouster
@HydraLana Lu-Raeng's magespark application was approved, so I adjusted his app accordingly to fit his new lore. I also made minor edits which I've highlighted in another color like I did with the rest of the edits.
