Karneval Lodge
Brüderlichkeit fehlt Nüchternheit
Fraternity Lacking Sobriety
A grand parchment trimmed in shining gold appeared on the notice board, plastered over older inquiries for work and rewards for lost hounds. Its message came as below, punctuated with dual seals bearing a chalice and a boar's head.
To you revelers, merrymakers, carousers and what-not; To you men and women who would sooner raise tankard before sword, yet have both in hand; To you dauntless drunkards who bring life to the taverns of this metropolitan city; Karneval Lodge welcomes you with open arms!
In these times filled with grave men rattling their sabres and haughty women gossiping over nonsense, in these present times stuffed with roundabout politicking and under-table machinations, respite must be offered to those who seek only the longed-for luxuries of good drink and good company. This is what we offer you, citizens of all rank alike. Sign on our rosters today! Make merry, Regalia!
Mission Statement
Karneval Lodge exists to provide a group outlet for entertainment roleplay, partly as roster and partly as notification service. Impromptu gatherings for drink and merriment are to be the norm.
Structure
Karneval Lodge is extraordinarily informal, less of a proper society and more of a barely held together mob. Only the lodgemaster has any formal power, but informal power is generally given to the man who can shout the loudest over the din of drunkard men. Thus, there is only two ranks.
Lodgemaster: The chief, this man is the effective face of the Lodge, somewhat imprudent considering his less than desirable physical attributes (leprosy). Nevertheless he is responsible for organizing the bigger, official events, and deeming who makes up the Lodge as a whole.
@ItsNotMarkus
Reveler: The standard man (or woman or beast) in the Lodge. He may drink, curse, laugh, and dance as much as he wants to whenever he wants to.
